I'll forever hold those lyrics close to my heart 😇I love how diverse Jimmy's music is, they might be classic rock songs for good times and a good drink but, there's a whole of meaning in them that I think every walk of life can relate to. Wow! I know whatever comment I make I won't be able to find the right words to express exactly how I feel about this song. First time I listened, the tears welled up. Maybe I was thinking about my own life experiences or maybe the lyrics just picked me and engulfed me. Second and subsequent times I listened, I heard and felt more. This is truly a brilliant song that will mean so much to so many people. A huge 'thank you' to Jimmy and family for creating such a powerful song. I'm looking forward to receiving my CD and attending 2 of the NZ shows in Sept and I'm counting down the days to Maldives #4

Yanno... Lockdown in good ole Melbourne town was pretty awful. It's vids like these - and from lots of performers, who gave their time for us - gratis - that helped so many of us through dire times. And for that I'm humbly grateful. That dreaded Lurgi is still with us... but somehow we all still keep pushing through. Thank you sooo much, Barnsey et al who kept us entertained... kept us willing to fight the good fight during desperate times. To see you all performing so cheerfully was inspirational - when doom and gloom surrounded us. We're still not out of the woods on this - but we'll keep fighting on. The energy that you put into these performances was uplifting. You, and all the other Musos, who welcomed us into their own homes. That's something that I don't think I'll ever forget. Kudos. One and all.

I first heard Jimmy on Good Time with INXS and I thought who is this guy? I was a fan from that moment. Fortunately for me Freight Train Heart was released shortly thereafter and it's still my favorite album of his. He just never disappoints! Soulful voice with such power.
