Barnsey’s slickest rock ballad, probably. Neal Schon from American rock (soft?) band Journey did the lead guitar fills on the original recording. His finesse is remarkable. Johnny Diesel, as he was known then, matches Schon for classic rock guitar tone but his lead fills have more of a boozey pub rock vibe to them. Each to their own.
