Condolences to Jimmy's family, friends and fans. We will miss him terribly. Someone who gave us love and laughter through his music. We love you Jimmy. Gone but never, ever forgotten.
@@padseven Hey...I just wanna know how the heck you landed such a sweet job?? I didn't realize Jesus was hiring. "JUDGE NOT...and YE SHALL NOT BE JUDGED." There's only 1 Judge, 'padseven', and it's definitely not you! You might be able to see someone's deeds..but ONLY GOD can see inside their HEARTS. Also, there's this amazing thing called "MERCY," and God has an unfathomable amount of it. At his very last breath, Jimmy could've said a SINCERE 3 words from the bottom of his heart, such as: "I'M SORRY, LORD." Or: "LORD, HAVE MERCY." At that moment God will KNOW whether Jimmy truly means what he's said or not. Then the omnipotence of God's Mercy steps into the picture. Like I said, there is only ONE "Judge,".......and it sure as heck isn't you. It appears as though Jimmy lived his life full of "LOVE,".......and THAT is what God looks at in a person...LOVE. Without love, you're damned to Hell! I suggest you start pourin' out the love, buddy!
I always loved his songs. I didn't know anybody who didn't like Jimmy! My Condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in Peace Jimmy Buffett, you are sorely missed by this fan.
My sis just told me today that my mom was playing his record back in the 70’s. She heard a line about drinking and screwing, she got mad, scratched it with a needle. She said we won’t hear that filth again, lol. She was something else.
@@driver4011Friend, if you think only living until the age of 76 is a full life I'm thinking you might be young! No doubt though Jimmy lived life on his own terms and was fortunate in many many ways 🦜🥥🧂🍹🦈
Id say if he was battling skin cancer for awhile as stated and was in hospice, my thoughts this would actually be a relief to his fam as he passed on and is no longer suffering. Such was my thoughts for my papi when he passed with cancer, living with cancer is NOT LIVING.😊
@@morrismonet3554 Genius. What a miraculous and insightful epiphany. You should tell people where it comes from so everyone will know to stay out of the sun or use sunscreen because I think you're the only one to make that connection.... Even though they also mentioned it in the video.
love you jimmy buffit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am a big fan of you
@Iknowaboutroaches3350, if you had been vaccinated, then he wouldn’t have discriminated against you, now would he? Pull your adult-size drawers up and get on with your life-and get effing vaccinated!
He will be greatly missed. There was only one Jimmy Buffet, no one can fill this void. Thankfully we have his music to bring his philosophy regarding life embedded in each song. May his family find peace in knowing he will never be forgotten, and is a legend for all time.
I didn’t realize he was only 76. Skin cancer is really awful and I hope everyone takes precautions when out in the sun. Take care of yourselves! RIP, Jimmy
My DAD passed away from skin Cancer too this is hitting home for me. Praying for his family and friends at this difficult time. GOD BLESS EVERYONE🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️😔😔😔😭😭😭
What an amazing journey and ride Jimmy Buffett had in his lifetime. He lived the life he was meant for on our planet and a lifetime of memories, music and an incredible personality to many generational ppl. Long may his memory, music and talent live on! From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.
As a floridian, I feel an integral part of my culture has passed away with Jimmy. Rest well Mr. Buffet, you contributed so much to the great state of Florida and to music as a whole.
Jimmy Buffett was loved & was very popular here in Australia too. I am 75 years old now & I have been listening to his music for about 50 years. I have a lot of his CDs, including at least one boxed set . I also have a number of his DVDs. I am sorry not to have attended at least one of his concerts. It was impossible to hear one of his songs & not feel happier afterwards. He deserves to rest in peace forever. Thanks Jimmy, for the pleasure you gave me, over the decades, VALE.
What an impact he had on so many people. Every, and I mean every pool party, played his music and made us smile and helped bring us to that special place.
I’m still wrecked. I can’t tell you how much his music meant to me when I was going through Seasonal Affective Disorder HELL living in the PNW. It was because of him we moved to Florida and have been insanely happy ever since living “Floridays”. God Bless you Jimmy. May you Rest in Peace.
Aww. I was fortunate to be in contact with Jimmy through a reactions youtubers. He was an incredible person. A definite laid back, dude! Take care, Jimmy and love and prayers for the family ❤

We all loved Jimmy Buffet. He's passed into his happy place, in a dimension right next to ours. He's happy and carefree now. Blessings to Jimmy Buffet and his family.
Devastated and heartbroken along with the rest of the Phlock. Our favorite pirate captain has set sail for his final voyage. It’s been a lovely cruise Jimmy. Thank you for bringing us along for your adventures.
Well said, he was an icon. Coincidentally, last night was Jimmy B night at our house as we made dinner and drank IPAs and listened to a long stretch of his 70s music. Then, I woke up to the sad news. There will never be another like him. Thanks for the joy and laughter, Jimmy. RIP, I hope you are in a good place.
My condolences to Jimmy's family during this very difficult time. "Fins Up" you will be missed dearly and never forgotten. Jimmy, you are an ICON and Legendary, RIP Jimmy ❤❤❤❤
Not only has Jimmy blessed my life with his music, but he led me to such wonderful artists as Bob Marley and James Taylor. Thank you Jimmy for being a joy and inspiration to all of us aspiring beach bums. God bless you and your family! ❤😢
My condolences to Jimmy's family, band members, and friends. He lived his life to the fullest all the while providing us Parrotheads with great songs and an opportunity to dream. To say he will be missed by millions may be an understatement. RIP Jimmy and thanks for your music that will always live on.
Rest in Peace Mr. Buffet. You were and will forever be remembered with your one-of-a-kind music and your love for life. I’m one of the many fortunates that had the privilege to see you in concert many times. You will be missed…Sail on sailor, sail on…❤
Crying? Why? He lived a life most people can ONLY DREAM of, and is now playing for God in Heaven..If anything, be thankful of the time he waa able to share with us here on earth
All the best to his family for allowing all of us all to be part of their family. We'll forever miss him but, we'll never forget him. God bless the Buffett family.

What a beautiful legacy he has left behind, he will truly be missed, but each of his songs that we play will be a tribute to him , thanks, Jimmy for all the wonderful songs we've listened to for many decades and will be enjoying in decades to come. 💖💖💖💖
What a loss.i remember when I was a kid in South Florida you never knew when he would walk in places and just start jamming he was one of the few that could grab your heart
My parents met Jimmy back in the day on his sailboat in Bar Harbor ME....he was hanging out cooking dinner, had just come in from a jog....bless you Jimmy from AZ 🦁for the love you gave the world!! 🌍🦁⛵🎵⛵
I am a self professed Jimmy Buffett maniac. However, this information needs to be released as a cautionary tale. Jimmy never used sunscreen according to a source that knew him. He was hugely influential and too many parrotheads still dance around in the sun's radiation without protection because he did it. They are setting themselves up for death or potential disfigurement by not protecting themselves. I'm saying this as a 50-something skin cancer survivor. Skin cancer is extremely preventable and is also highly treatable when caught early. But even one bad non-fatal basal cell on your nose can potentially cause part of your nose to be removed to stop the spread. Jimmy most likely had a very aggressive melanoma if he was going to the doctors regular but still had it go into his lymph-nodes. Squamous cell can kill you but will almost never do so when caught early or even after it has grown some. I doubt Jimmy and his entire crew, family, friends and doctors missed a squamous cell that was growing on him. They are pretty noticeable when they grow larger. But an aggressive melanoma can be a matter of weeks before it gets in your bloodstream if it's the worst kind. So I have to believe that Jimmy had a worse case scenario when they found it. Sad. Don't make the same mistake folks. Limit your raw sun exposure! There's a reason all the old folks covered themselves up when working in the sun back in the day. They didn't have easy access to skin cancer treatment back then so they were smart and prevented it from happening in the first place. RIP Jimmy:(
My deepest sympathies to Jimmy's family and friends as they go through this saddest of times. His music will live on forever, and so will he. Always cherished, remembered and loved 🙏🏼😔
Last night at work, while, unknown to me, Jimmy Buffett was dying, someone played It's 5 o'clock Somewhere, and I echoed the question, "What would Jimmy Buffett do?" My answer to this rhetorical question was, "Hopefully make a full recovery and enjoy a drink with people he loves." This was likely mere hours before his death. 💔
Thanks Paul for visiting and comforting his family, the family must have really been touched, God Bless. My condolences to the Buffett family. Jimmy was a wonderful, tune-smith and writer. Will miss him very much.
@@Stickermania2853 Thanks Frank, yes, great point. I'm wondering if logistics played a role, cause I do believe Paul has a home near Sag Harbor (in the Hamptons) Both Paul and Jimmy multi talented writers and performers indeed. It's joyous to know how Paul appreciated Jimmy and I'm sure likewise. thanks for posting!
😢😢the world has lost a legend!! His family will be in my thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult journey without him! Rest well Parrot Head, until we once again can hear your tunes from the other side!!😢😢
Prayers for Jimmy's family during this time of grief. He was one of the good guys who had the gift to lift your mood just by playing any of his songs. I will miss him.
RIP, my wife and I love your music and books. Your songs formed the sound track of our lives. A lot of sources are saying you were a one hit wonder, but that is not true. Your thoughtful lyrics and melodies touched so many people. Tonight I will go to Margaritaville and remember all of the good times that were accomplished with your music in the background.
So sad. The world will miss you Jimmy Buffett. I was 25 years-old when I first heard 'Come Monday' on my car radio in 1974. The song is still one of my favorites, and so is Jimmy Buffett. May you rest in peace.
I wish I could personally thank Jimmy Buffet for all the entertainment and joy he brought to this world. RIP pirate…. May God’s Grace bless his family and loved ones.
His song, Margaritaville came out when I was in high school. I remember hearing it on the radio while by the pool. It was a huge hit even with us younger ones. He will be missed. 🙏❤️
My farmer brothers both had skin cancers removed..one passed recently but the other continues to have cancerous spots removed. Their sons, also farmers grew up wearing long sleeves, hats, and drive AC cab equipment so hopefully they’ll be okay. We all grew up in the fields all summer but I have no problems and being pale I stay out of sun or use sunscreen.
I was 10 yrs younger than Jimmy. His music is the music of my life. I went to his last concert in Charlottesville in 2018. I saw him for the first time at Carowinds (just south of Charlotte NC) 1976. I probably went to over 30 shows in those 40+ yrs. He music has gotten me thru so many times in my life when I was depressed. RIP Jimmy. My deepest condolences to all members of his family.
