The Fix is genuinely one of my favorite new shows of 2018, if not my favorite. The combo of Katherine Ryan, Jimmy Carr, and DL Hughley, with the rotating guests are so funny, and every so often they actually come up with really smart fixes! I laughed, I learned, I laughed some more. Definitely recommend watching it on Netflix. Super bingeable.

Correction: The Tambora volcano caused the Year Without a Summer in 1816, although Krakatoa did drop the global temp by 2 degrees, caused weird sunsets all over the place and inspired that infamous Scream painting, but it wasn’t as bad as Tambora. I’m a geography nut, I couldn’t help myself.

u2petre That was Krakatau, the child of Krakatoa as it’s often called. It erupted which made the island unstable and caused the SW section to collapse, which displaced the water, pushing it out across the ocean as a tsunami.

jimmy's too sharp for a lot of us americans. we take him at face value because we don't realize that he never, never, breaks character. he's as much an actor as he is a comedian.

Christ, how painful to see someone legitimately funny and the stupid US audience literally have no idea what to laugh at - the biggest laugh was from him cursing. Pretty embarrassing really.

Jimmy Carr is always great and outrageous, and i'm sure the show is very much worth a watch, but that clip was rather terrible.

Jimmy Carr should have took his British panel with him as well because with the exception of DL Hughley the rest are as funny as watching paint dry Maybe throw a bill burr, Louis CK, Kev Hart and if people say they are too big for the show then DL shouldn’t be on it.

Because been funny is just his job. If you met most comedians they are a pretty depressing bunch most of the time. I guess its something they switch on when it fees right.

American talk shows now are garbage except for conan. Craig ferguson was a quality talk show host but he wouldnt survive in this pc culture at all
