My best friend and girlfriend passed away in high school of a brain aneurysm. She was only 14, I was 15. To this day, I have never met anyone with a heart as pure as hers and I'm not just saying that. Although I'm 30 now and the wounds have healed, I'd give anything just to see her or talk to her just one more time. This song resonates deeply with me.

While all of the ladies were sipping champagne and getting ready for a celebration of what’s to come, her husband to be passed away from a condition induced heart attack while taking a walk on the beach. Mike was an amazing person, and this is so fucking cruel and unfair - they’d just bought a house together, have a dog…so much life to live. Hold your loved ones close, tell them you love them. In memory of my mother, I am performing "Hear You Me" for my high school's Open Mic Night. This dedication will mean a lot to me, since my family and a whole community will be there to see me perform such an angelic song. My brother Todd died last year in 2022 after a life long illness with spinal muscular atrophy and at age 37 he left this world to go on to the big show in the stars!! My husband was killed in a motorcyle accident more than a week ago. This song breaks me. We stopped communicating for almost 3 years. I didn’t know he was longing for me and our daughter. He hit black ice, lost control, and hit a tree, all while his best friend watched in the rear view mirror of his car. Alex was in a coma for 28 days, then passed away. I hope for a fast, and easy recovery for the other two passengers, and that your friend rests in paradise.

This song got me through a whole lot of bad stuff about ten years ago. I had just moved to Phoenix and this band was all over the radio. I always said I wanted this at my funeral. I don't know what i would have done without this entire cd. But especially this song. After I saw these guys live a few times I realized they are they real deal.
