I still remember the first time I heard Jimmy sing ,it was on my way to work and our local DJ said the Statler Brothers have a new Singer with the group ,and believe me folks his is a voice that is going to be the best thing to happen to them ! He was so right !

I discovered who Jimmy Fortune was just a few weeks ago when I ran across this song. I knew who the Statler Brothers were but they were just another group that I liked but not a favorite. Jimmy opened my eyes. One of the prettiest songs I’ve ever heard and I immediately had to learn it. It’s been a great experience discovering how really great the Statler Brothers were (and are) and Jimmy’s history with them. I’ll definitely will be following Jimmy’s career and catching up on some lost time knowing the Statler Brothers great talent. Thanks Jimmy and you obviously sing and write from a Christian’s heart.
