I kind of hope AEW would do an injury angle on Marko. Not anything too serious, but something to give him a couple of months off tv. In that time he could recover and learn some submission moves, because I feel that's the best way to put him and his size over. Turn him heel, lose the fun size gimmick, and make him lethal. They could even have him feud with Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus for letting him get hurt.

Yeah I sort of feel like he has to go heel if he's to win any singles matches, any wrestler who loses to him cleanly will lose a lot of credibility.

I don't feel like they'd lose credibility, it's more of a reality aspect. Ofcourse a small guy is expected to lose, unless that guy is trained in some form combat. The heel aspect would simply be to feud with Jungle Boy really. I'd hate to see him to turn into a heel that has to cheat for every win.

@@mooncalfpaints9750 Unless it's a cruiserweight or cheating heel type character I don't see anyway the guy who loses to Mark Stunt doesn't lose at least some credibility. Maybe if they sold Stunt as this amazing fighting genius or at least he had a nice physique I could swallow that, but he's being sold as pretty much the kid brother of the Jurassic Express.

@@DreamStepper that's exactly why his booking needs to change, he's just an underdog with no real obstacle to overcome except his size. Side note: I have also seen shorter people win in real fights, so it's not really a stretch. A trained fighter will always beat someone without training. Even if he just took boxing lessons to learn how to properly punch, anything that commentary can help get him over. He'll never be a heavyweight champion, but he could be a key aspect to his tag partner and the belts.

@@mooncalfpaints9750 Yes I know shorter people have won fights, but Marko Stunt isn't just short, he also lacks physique as well as experience compared to most of the people he'd be up against on AEW. I think it's too late in the game to push Marko Stunt as a fighting genius, but if he takes those few months to just work on his physique and maybe put on a few pounds and comeback with a more aggressive attitude, then I think that should be enough to get him over.

Ice Marko Stunt just looks bad in the ring. He’s small but he ISNT EVEN THAT FAST. You’d think he’d be very agile for his height but a lot of what he does in the ring looks slow and almost none of his moves look they have any impact.

@@edtunn3421 umm yes and hence in that match he was trying to not get caught and used his agility to you know slip up from any holds or anything. And when he did get caught he was getting beat up by havok. Watch the match properly and you would notice Marko didn't use much attacks. It was Marko who was getting attacked and was avoiding attacks most of the time.
