Joey definitely needs more matches like this one, to where he's tested and also gets to showcase his skills more!!! Awesome showing from both of them and great win for the BadBoy JJ!!!
Wether he won or not you can't deny the fact that it was an awesome showing/showcase of his skills and that he needs to be tested more like this to shine like how he did on the Indy's!!!
Luckily this was on youtube & not TNT I can see Vince suing JR, AEW & TNT for saying Stone Cold in anyway shape or form. McMahon owns the Stone Cold name
@@brianpankey9430 you're actually right. I'm pretty sure WWE has a trademark on that phrase, which would make it pretty dangerous to use in this particular trade (wrestling). Using the phrase outside of a wrestling context has always been legal though.
gpdcjf102 Is because he botched up the corkscrew piledriver....Look at how his body and neck twisted on the way out and the ref put his hand on his neck after the match ...this was signs of an injury...
Nice touch saving Janela/Fenix as a bonus match. I feel like the main AEW Channel is going to need to upload new content as the months pass. With AEW's new deal with TNT extended to 2023 and a new 1 hour show on the way possibly on TNT or one of their sister networks AEW is going to need more content on their main RU-vid channel, so it would will be cool to see more bonus dark matches added to the main channel every so often. It would also be cool if AEW gets a Saturday Night slot on TV for their new 1 hour show or Dark gets moved to TV and changed to Saturday Night Spark💥 @ 6:05PM ET.
@@rriggs6547It may seem like it initially, but their is an audience there on Saturday nights, keep in mind the 2nd AEW show is only going to be a hour, TNT is simply providing more content for AEW and it's fanbase, Tony has already stated he does not want to put the show on any day that's a NBA game night. You put their 2nd show on Saturday nights and also use it as a lead in to their PPVs since AEW has their PPVs also scheduled for Saturdays, doing the 1 hour show on weekends will ultimately work out in AEW's favor.
I know the show won't garner as much ratings as Dynamite; so just to be a thorn on WWE's ass, I purposely would put it on Monday or Friday nights, to mess with their ratings lol
Liked the match, but I need to get used to a flying elbow as a finisher again, since the move didn't get any wins for ages. Especially after seeing Janela kicking out of a spanish fly before.
I wish this was on Dark, the show felt short for a second week in a row. It's cool we got this match solo but I like Dark feeling like its own Hour show. Damn this crowd is so hot.
Dont forget cassidy and statlander. They been together alot, might be building up for a intergender tag couple as well. Cody and brandi would be fun once brandi drop that weird gimmick group.

The only time they show free matches is old variations of a match they're trying to sell you. Like with the royal rumble coming they'll show an old one for free. Everything they do is for their pockets first and our enjoyment second
Man im loving the look of these different stage sets. Its visually pleasing to the eye and gets me even more pumped to watch these matches. Overall im loving what AEW is doing and im just excited to watch the company really grow and hit their stride!!! I'll be here every step of the way!!! AEW!!! AEW !!! AEW !!!
AEW has access to AAA talent but never books anyone on Dynamite. I would love to see occasional six man tags with Drago, Puma King, Laredo Kid, El Vikingo and others.
He really, really did need that win to help him stay relevant in the fans eyes. I do wonder tho if Fenix hadn't been hurt if he would've went over instead of Janella.
@@kingflame81 hurt or not i think Fenix was a good choice for Janela to go over. a singles loss wont hurt Fenix as he's primarily a tag wrestler and it gives Janela a big win over a big name. win/win for all i think.
I actually loved that this was separated from DARK... It garners it's own traffic and gives the whole AEW more views/publicity... Great strategic move 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

First time seeing Rey Fenix, must say im very very impressed! the guy was even faking me out! great stuff! love that slap to the face when Janella was down in the corner.
Joey Janela is underated. He's not the smoovest. But he's not boring and he always puts his body on the line. He had a lot of crazy matches in AEW besides the one with Moxley. I hope tony Khan still keeps him on a contract. And at least gives him a action figure.

Joey Janela is what you'd get if you combined Macho Man's flamboyance and showboating with Mick Foley's daredevil wrestling style and every-man charm, guy could be huge one day.
That corkscrew package piledriver looked nasty and I don't think Rey Fenix was selling. Looks like he was telling the ref about it before the elbow drop
That DDT on the apron really looked like it broke Joey's neck. He sold the hell out of that. Similar to the way he sold Jungle Boy's hurricanrana in the (I think) Double or Nothing Battle Royal.
Joey's flying elbow is better than CM Punk's was HEAR ME OUT Punk didn't jump upward. He dove. If he'd jumped upward, he'd be able to break commentary tables
