Just in case you didn't know, the owner of this channel, mosogotam, whose real name is John Perrone, sadly passed away April 5, 2020 from COVID-19. He was an absolute genius for this and all the other wonderful tracks he created. May he rest in peace.

Alot of demicide happened last 3 yrs in the hospitals by our so-called Government's. Hope the poor guy didn't die alone like my family did . One day when everyone wakes up there will be blood split to anyone who was apart of any of this. Just get upset when people die of supposedly covid 19 Die in a car crash ...its covid Fell of 10 story building...its covid .

Jimmy's voice was second to none. But the real unsung hero's are the Funk Brothers and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on this one. For years I always wondered what the strings sounded like isolated. When you take out the vocals, and hear the harp, the bari sax, piano, it really hits home how beautiful the track is. No matter what your taste is being vocals or the instrumental, it could only happen in one place. Hitsville. The Snakepit. The Motown Sound. It's here to stay.

This is HEAVEN Tot MY EARS ! I keep listening and listening and listening, it's soothing my soul and making my heart feeling more alive than ever. And I'm not a broken hearted at all, I'm just someone looking to share some light with the world and this song is al about this. Let's share the light, the love and help and live together peacefully forever. Music at its most simpliest and deepest cause there are a lot of deepness in the simplicity of the words and the opposite too.

Another serious Motown piece! It seems that Jimmy serenades us with the sorrow of a love affair that ends in eternal separation. Disillusioned, he "Walks This Land of Broken Dreams." Here, he delivers his message with CONTROLLED eloquence that stirs all understanding & compassion: "I Walk In Shadows Searching For Light" and "Always Moving & Going Nowhere." This is SUPERIOR COMMAND of LYRICAL INVENTION!!

A fitting tribute to a beautiful person and a true gentle man, of which the world has too few. If memory serves me correctly, Jimmy donated all proceeds of his single "Soul Deep" to support families of striking British miners in the mid '80s - so, a man of conviction, deep beliefs and soul. It is so good to hear the backing arrangements as well as the vocals. There is so much going on virtually unheard on the original song. You are doing a great job fella.

What stunning, superb singers the Ruffins were. And this version is pure bliss. Pure fuc*ing bliss.
