@@tnexus13 Neither Jimmy's strat forced them to pit because it's extremely hard to do an overcut on that circuit. with or without the penalty they'd have had to pit with him.

Imagine if Jimmer and Ricky had not pitted, the 18 second penalty to let them by would have suddenly become a one minute penalty waiting for the other car to make up for their stop.

Can you explain, why this is risky? They gave him the opportunity to overtake by pitting and waiting a long time. It's not their fault that he pitted in the same lap. Or where am i wrong?

@@Etherion195 A drive-through penalty means you cannot do any work on the car. Giving the position back is usually done on the track. What he did is entered pit lane to change tires, the result of which was the other driver being ahead ("gave the position back") briefly and with worse tires. Very likely something that would have happened anyway, defeating the point of a penalty.

Yeah, Rocky is a good bloke. Met him a couple of times at the DTM, he was super friendly and ready to chat with the fans. (Sidenote: Coulthard and certified DTM legend Bernd Schneider are fantastic as well. Both have lots of cool stories from their active careers.)

Ok so my theory is that clips are quite literally perfect for the algorithm: - People are likely to watch a bunch of them in a row (the algorithm then recommends you some more every now and then because it realizes people like binging these videos) - People are likely to interact with them (comments or likes) because they are short and intense and the video usually ends at the peak moment - they are short enough that people are very unlikely to not watch them in their entirety - apparently RU-vid no longer penalizes shorter videos, this could be as an attempt to adapt to the "Tik Tok format" or maybe it never really penalized shorter videos, people just used to make boring ass short videos.
