I like Jimmy Song, but his association with Tone Vays really drops his intellect quite a few scales down. He's got to get off his maximalist horse too. Thinking the dollar, the legacy economy, and BTC can somehow coexist is like thinking that horses and cars belong on the same freeway.
And his views on Dogecoin need to be updated. Perhaps they were relevant last year. But this year Dogecoin development has kicked into high gear to bring the latest developments of Bitcoin to Dogecoin as it is a downstream fork. Also the Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge construction is well underway. This bridge can easily be back ported upstream into Bitcoin. Dogecoin definitely should not be underestimated.
What I don't understand about bitcoin is the fact that Satoshi has a lot of it, witch now is worth billions at this point and if the value will continue to rise, it can be in the trillions... How come that's OK? if nobody knows who or what it is that will have all this value for him or it self!
Currently the 100k BTC in satoshi’s wallet has never once been touched. If it were to it could raise some concerns, but ultimately would just need time to redistribute if they were to spend it. Right now the person most suspected to be satoshi has passed (rest in peace). Remember, it’s one thing to own something worth $1T, and another thing to actually cash it out as $1T. I would suspect many government intelligence agencies have tried to track down satoshi by now to no avail. Resisting withdrawing even part of their bitcoin holdings would require a lot of willpower if they were still alive and active. I’m sure they deeply understand what btc means to the world if they happen to be. I would also wonder how many cyber hornets would track satoshi down in an instant if the wallet were to be ever accessed
@@cankiller also remember that more unknown entities holding similar levels of fiat wealth exist too. Every system has its risks and will be manipulated as much as possible by people, but the main thing for you to decide is which system you feel is the least corruptible and fair one
