@Mr Blue wow that's actually a pretty great idea I guess you could make money buying gold low and then selling it high but just holding gold is a terrible investment. Gold hasn't even match the inflation at all same with silver I mean it's great to have some of both of these because you don't know if the price might go up insane overtime but I feel like most people who owned these precious metals should own some land have their house paid off and stuff like that instead of wasting all their money and stupid Investments when they're still paying a mortgage and interest rates on things that they should have had completely paid off. I like to invest in things that actively service me for the life of that investment I would rather have $5,000 in solar panels and solar batteries and not have to pay electricity for the rest of my life compared to spending $5,000 on gold that just sits there and doesn't really do anything other than maybe go up in price five percent every year which is nonsense to me unless you're extremely rich and you have nothing better to invest in and you've already bought everything you need which is basically nobody
Moissanite is a real gemstone. It’s not as hard as diamonds but is still scratch resistant and reflects more colors than natural diamonds. They hit way harder and shine brighter because they are doubly reflective while diamonds are only singly reflective. This means light that passes through moissanite is reflected twice and gives more of a glistening rainbow effect. Basically they are better than diamonds, just not as hard. And 1/3 the price.
Moissanite isn't diamond, that's the thing. I definitely rock in my ears everyday. Cheaper and hits harder than a diamond. I dont care about the white man price.
Same i got some rose gold studs from harlem bling and they hit super hard…ill probably never buy diamonds but ill definitely never buy cz’s again after seeing the difference
dam ppl really want attention n validation that bad that yall will wear fake diamonds lol u gonna risk somebody robbing or shooting your ass over some middle of the mall jewelry smh it aint that serious bruh either u can afford it or u cant end of the day why do u feel u need jewelry anyway real or fake shit dont matter
@@Sangfroid. It's a piece of jewelry and moisannite isn't fake. It's a real gemstone. It's funny how you dudes openly admit to wanting to get scammed by diamonds. Why would you willingly purchase something that immediately loses half it's value after purchase? Aka, diamonds. When I can buy moisannite that has better shine for 1/10th the price. It's like having the ability to buy a $5 cotton shirt from walmart yet choosing the same shirt with a luxury brand logo slapped on it for $500. Willingly being scammed is the dumbest thing in the world. But you do you.
There’s no such thing as a moissanite diamond, moissanite is a rare gemstone found in meteorites, it was discovered by Henry Moissan in the early nineteenth century. It can also be lab grown , and if you know what to look for you can definitely tell the difference between a diamond vs a moissanite
@@yungkaxDIEx not necessarily, there are definitely noticeable differences to a trained eye. Moissanites appear milkier than diamonds and refract light differently. As another commenter just mentioned.
Really seems like a great substitute for diamonds! Supposedly they reflect more light than diamonds just get them set in precision metals and boom a beautiful piece of jewelry, precious metals and no green neck plus you could have multiple beautiful pieces for the price of one with diamonds
For the love of God please just put some of these in the same videos it's all one interview anyway n it's a great interview but i have to go to the search bar n look up the next oartt every time lol
Definitely a preference.. jewelry is an investment.. but VV’s is very expensive for a lot of people.. I never knock nobody for what they rock.. as long as they don’t try and flex on you and not know what they got.. if it’s fake but you like it.. do you..
Its a stone n i just told my brother this alot of rap ppl n ppl from the hood rocking it i can tell by the shine when the lights hit it it more shining then the real deal nbs
De beers haven't had a monopoly in a long time bro. The Oppenheimer's sold their stake in de beers so they dont even own it anymore. The now sell less than 20% of the world diamonds when they used to sell over 90%.
Imagine paying lots of money to become a target for something not even worth anything lol diamonds aren't worth anything it's the biggest scam of all time
@StonelesBox saying "diamonds" aren't worth anything is to broad. Are you talking about small diamonds. Are you telling me a 1.00ct diamond is worthless? Lmao. It's 5k minimum for a quality 1.00ct diamond.
@@truthistruth4186 it isn’t worth anything cuz it doesn’t serve a function or a purpose the only reason it’s worth anything because people listen to other people saying it’s worth something. Diamonds are literally rocks out of the ground they don’t do anything atleast gold can function as a material . All diamonds do is shine and make people go “ooooo”
@@truthistruth4186 bro if u wannabe a fool for somebody just say that u over here trysn justify spending $100k Onna rock to sit on ur neck. Groceries and food are essentials. Flowers create oxygen and are food for insects which are essential to ecosystem. Diamonds serve absolutely no purpose period.
Spending every dollar you got on a chain is the dumbest thing ever lol. I just never understood these people who will have a chain worth 50k but don’t have 5 grand to bail out of jail smh.
My Wife wanted me to upgrade her wedding ring for our 10 yr! But she said don’t spend stupid money! I went to a jeweler my budget was 5k he showed me 4 rings all diamonds 14 and 18 carrot gold bands then showed one more ring dope ring but a lot less! I was like how he said it’s a Mossinte stone. He said a lot of his clients go with this ring as an alternative! I sent the picture of all the rings and immediately she text me back and said she wanted that ring! I told her it wants a Diamond she said she didn’t care she wanted it! Paid 2k and it’s insured! He could have pushed the other rings but my wife loves it! He said this ring if it was a Diamond stone would be like 10grand and he hit with a Diamond tester and registered as a Diamond. You can spend your money on other stuff like a crib or invest in some stocks
3:38 "diamond is a luxury" The one takeaway that people should take from what he's saying here. anyone who has ever tried to sell their diamond engagement ring will understand what he's talking about, you're not getting back anywhere near what was paid for it. There are investment diamonds out there but they're not putting them into every day jewelry, they're too valuable for that use.
Moissanite is its own gem stone. Its considered a "Diamond Alternative". Nothing wrong with wearing it i wear moissanite but i keep it real and tell people what it really is. If youre going around with moissanite passing it off as diamond thats when your shit is fake imo. Get what you can afford but be honest about it we all know everybody aint got it
Diamonds are a horrible investment, you won’t even get 10% of what you paid. Only if it’s a larger/rarer diamond than you might be able to hold more equity but you’ll still lose
He tells you about the cost to make the diamond chain but don’t tell you how much you will get if you try to sell it. Small stones don’t hold much value. You have to get big ct stones as an investment.
It's not an investment, don't let any jeweler tell you that. Unless you have huge stones they have no value as far as diamonds no. Now gold is a different story
Been trying to tell folks, if you know the cost and not paying a high premium, gold and diamonds are always a great investment.... I've bought a ton of jewelry that i had no interest in wearing only bought to "save money" and when i needed my cash either got what i paid or made a couple bucks... Can never go wrong buying a chain for $2-5 over spot price
@@blaccsilverstaff5484 if my lying I'm dying....cash talks....some of these jewelers just not letting you walk out the door....and if you come in knowing your stuff they cut the bs and sell....or I walk out, cause there's someone downtown down to make the sell
@@blaccsilverstaff5484 and some of these guys bought way before the bump in price and know their still making a profit so they sell, some may just need to make some cash that day. I'll never tell my sources but if you shop around long enough and build a decent relationship it's easy to buy $2-5 over spot
@@AMGTT if you get it at the right price it totally is....1carat worth of .10... Pay the price of the gold add an extra $50-$100 for the stones. When it's time to sell I'm at least doubling what I added for the stones, done it plenty of times. 🤷🏾♂️
These jewelers don’t like the lab shit because they can’t markup the stones 1000%. Real gold and moissanite is not a fake piece. Whatever you prefer, don’t go broke on a trinket mane.
It’s a smart investment when buying gold and paying minimal markup over spot price. Gold is a commodity that you can check the price any given day. Diamonds are a scam.
Moissanite look EXACTLY like diamonds to the naked eye. you can only tell the difference under a microscope because it is not a fake stone. it is a real gemstone. Lab diamonds also look the same and cost HALF as much as a natural diamond.........jewelry has one of the highest retail markups of ANY good sold. Most times, the customer pays about 4 times what the jewelry is actually worth......
I got both lab vvs diamonds pendant, lab vs Cuban bracket, and I have GIA si h color on my ring. I get complemented oneverything. But my GIA ring cost more than all my other jewelry
He contradicted tf outta himself. He said he made a chain for 16k that would cost 35k to make now. But when you sell diamonds you take a loss but it’s an investment 😂😂 bro need to make his mind up
Wonder when people will realize stones (diamond or other) should NOT be considered an investment; gold is. You'll never get anywhere near what you paid for your stone natural or lab grown. Also, I wonder how people dont know the difference between appraised vs resale value. Like antiquing, your item is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Kevo: I told my ex wife she's on her own to sell her Moissanite chain to provide for our son Also Kevo: I spent 16k on cat & 150k on a rich rapper who doesn't know me chain (Kodak)
Nothing beats the camera flashes of a real diamond but a natural diamonds are the only thing going up in value lab-created diamonds are consistently going down
He’s asking him the wrong question. What he should have asked was if there is a difference in shine, appearance, cut and quality between a moissanite stone and a natural diamond.
He wouldn't know the answer. Same as most people who talk down on moissanite because moissanites beat diamonds in every category except for hardness. Diamonds are 10/10 on the mohs scale and moissanites are 9.25/10, so not much of a difference. Both will last a lifetime. They are both their own gem and both are naturally occurring, but moissanite is even rarer than a diamond, so all moissanite found in jewellery is going to be lab made
@@Ty-J_250 a jewler would absolutely know that moissanite is just as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as any lab or natural stone. The custom jewlery industry is a scam
And the answer is Yes. If you want your “diamonds” to shine like Tekashi69 full of sweet rainbows go for moissanite. Otherwise pay dat fee & get natural or lab diamonds which shine white and baby blue with tints of purp
You can tell moissanite from a natural diamond. Moissanite has a lot of colors in it that diamonds don’t have. Even though I got grillz from Johnny Dang I still got my diamonds tested because u never know.
Depends on how big the stones are I legitimately have both and if the stone is under 3mm in size you cannot tell. You’d need a microscope to see the refractions.
@@benstraitor3434 Moissanite doesn't follow the 4 C's. Calling moissanite vvs just shows how you are being finessed lmao. Thats like saying a CZ or sapphire has vvs clarity. It doesnt work like that. Its just a diamond term moissanite sellers use to sell you their crap. Might as well wear "vvs" CZ lmao.
@@benstraitor3434 Bruh if I get a bit of clear glass or plastic without any inclusions can i call it vvs? VVS is a diamond term to grade diamonds. It means nothing when used in context of moissanite.
I’m Asian I like diamonds but I only buy Asian gold 24k chains gold never loses value diamonds do and especially if u get something custom made it loses more value just a preference of what u like gold most definitely smarter purchase tho.
The funny thing is all the "hood dudes" who brought big gold chains for 20k like 20 years ago and still have them are laughing all the way to the bank with their 100k gold chains. Look how much the price of gold has risen in the last 20 years. The prices are set by banks who have invested heavily in gold themselves. Its probably the safest way to store wealth long term.
Diamonds are not investments...No value unless u have rare diamonds. Its like most cars u buy brand new off the lot...Once it leaves the lot...The value goes down. Gold is the best! 24k to be exact...Reason why most Asians rock gold!

Selling diamonds to a jeweler is like selling snow to an Eskimo. It doesn't make any sense. If you want top dollar for your diamonds you do private sales. Why would a jeweler that has $100,000s if not millions in diamonds pay you for diamonds? Lmao. It doesn't make any sense.
