Considering many people don't wear seat belts while off-road, he was probably sacrificing his hand/arm to save his head and neck. Otherwise it could have been his face that went out the window. We have instinctive reactions for a reason.
This is why open wheel race cars have hand restraints that prevent you from raising your hands high enough to try to catch the car and do all sorts of damage to yourself.
Sticking your hand out can be a natural reaction to rolling, in the V8 jet boats, you hands are tied to you belt so you can't physically reach outside the frame.
It's not the Jimny , it's the driver. You can see he approached the slope in a slow speed then he left the brakes which makes the car run fastly and jump over the small cliff which makes the driver responsible for the accident , so what we learn ? Be smart and avoid disaster.

I understand the confusion with naming conventions, its not a Jimmy spelled wrong, the "Jimny" was the Native Japanese name for the Suzuki Samuri, which you might remember was famously discontinued in the U.S. due to its narrow body and habit of rolling over.

All-in-all, that Jimny handled the rollover extremely well. I miss having these in the US, they were called the Suzuki Samurai here and I’ve seen them help pull much larger 4wds out of mud pits- they are tiny beasts and I really miss them.
I know this poor fellow did NOT just violate the first rule of off roading: keep all parts of your body inside the vehicle, it has a body or roll cage to protect you, sticking a limb out is saying you want to pay a hospital bill and lose your arm cause you didn't have the good sense to keep inside your cage meant to keep you safe.....
My brother in law broke his arm in 3 different places thinking he cant stop a atv from flipping. Dont do that. Tuck in ur arms and take the hit that way. Do peoples brain not function right? That’s literally supposed to be your body reflex. Tuck in arms and legs and protect ur chest and heart if rolling. Duck and cover ur head and the back of ur neck if shit is falling on you. Survive my people! Survive!
Safety tip, when you are off roading always keep your windows a bit more than halfway up, saves you from the natural instincts to try and put your hand out to save yourself.
Size is stupid and too general anyway. There's wheelbase and ground clearance and suspension stiffness and dampers setting etc. Just so many factors that work together in a complex way
Clark is getting pretty good at hiding his powers. Initially, he was only going to stick his pinky out the window but that would have been way to obvious.
Windows up? No. For one you can't hear spotters if they are needed and secondly door glass shatters when it breaks. It's much safer to keep it contained inside the door
@@beardedforlife3740 Tempered glass has been in use since the 1950s. Tempered glass in your seat isn't shards of glass, therefore very unlikely to cause any injury, and way preferable to broken bones. My spotter uses a 2way radio to communicate with me.
It’s a moment of fuck uppery. We’ve all been there. Misjudged a few things and had distractions with others filming and occupants probably wanting more speed and stuff.
Why I don’t like lift kits, if you need some to fit tires ok but that’s it. Also never ever reach out the window to catch your vehicle. You can’t, you don’t want to.
Size was not the factor. He went to fast when he shouldn't, and got things worse by braking at the wrong moment/situation. Put his hand out of the window was a terrible idea 💔
