Our Jin being an astronaut would explain why he never ages. So many treats in this mv from braille messages, the little girl being army, the trees all around his spaceship (showing how long he has been here), and the truck being the one to pick him up at the end. I feel like the people ignoring and bumping into him shows that army, bts, and his family are the only ones who see the real him. Other things as well, but I've been an emotional mess since this mv dropped. This is such a beautiful love song for army. My 9 year army anniversary was a couple of weeks ago, so I've been waiting for the military news for years.😭 If this is his goodbye for now message, I'm scared for what the others are going to do to us.
I think maybe you are thinking about Doctor Who. With the suit and short pants. That was a classic Matt Smith and David Tennant outfit. Also the little girl represents ARMY. Him teaching her to ride a bike kinda represents Jin teaching ARMY to stand on our own. He also shows that he will come back to ARMY in the end. The picture of home represents him realizing that being with the little girl and staying on Earth is home.
So I cried my eyes out tonight when I watched Jin and Coldplay perform is in Theater!!! The song's beautiful and Jin's beautiful and oh gosh I'm gonna miss him while he's gone. A few things I've seen people talk about. There's Coldplay eastereggs, like the posters, Chris as the news ancher and the lyric about My Universe. Someone said the little girl is ARMY(She possibly represents the other members too or maybe the girl's family are the members). She took Jin(The Astronaut, possibly alien) in and made him family!!😭 Saw on twitter someone saying that Jin's suit being too small might be because that's all he had when he crash landed or that he had to borrow some clothes from ARMY's family. The second makes sense when you see that the pants Jin wears while teaching ARMY to ride a bike are being held up by a shoelace because they're too big(I believe he's also wearing a Coldplay tshirt). Yes, that was the guitar Chris gave him(At least it looked like it). It was braille on Jin's neck and it spells ARMY. All the kid's drawings are done by Lumpens(Founder - Yeon-seok Choi)'s son. The film/production company has done many of BTS's MVs. It is a farewell song, but only for a short while, because Jin(And the other guys) will be back.💜
This MV was the perfect “see you soon” send off for ARMY. Had me 😭😭😭. It was filmed on the Universal Backlot. The space suit he stops to look at is in front of the redressed clock tower from Back to the Future 🙂. Also, I missed it too at first but Chris Martin is the news anchor 😋.
The alien in human form learning Earth ways (via the little girl) also references the film Starman with Jeff Bridges - the end of that always makes me cry, just like Jinnie's song :') But at least our "starman" will be coming back to us 💜

the little girl represents Army and Jin teaching her to ride the bike is hin teaching us to keep on going forward without him. u see how proud and happy he is when she can ride without his help and when he sees she can do it and no longer needs him to move on he can move on as well, knowing in the end we will meet again

I love this MV so much as it captures everything what jin and what his daily life is about and shows us armys that whenever he leaves home it's the first thing he misses. Also Jinnies vocals are amazing on this song and you can feel every bit of emotion coming from him and this song brought tears to my eyes (it just the way he sings that does it) Let's stream this sing for him to show him how much we love him and will miss him.
