Timestamps about Jin's changes: 0:26 Devil Jin's Electric Wind God Fist is back. You can now access it via Omen Stance, but you have to do it as a parry. 1:02 Demon's Paw (DVJ's old move) is now a Heat Engager. 1:06 Another one of DVJ's moves. It was seen on the cinematic story trailer. 1:14 Heihachi's Omen Thunder God Fist (OTGF) is now performable by Jin. 1:30 Jin's classic Hellsweep is now merged with DVJ's variant ending with an Axe kick. 2:48 Was this traditional input for DVJ in the past games? I don't think this was there. It's pretty new and neat. 3:01 DVJ performed this on Tekken Tag 2 or Tekken 6. 4:08 His Laser Cannon input from Tekken Tag 2 is back. 4:10 Tekken 4 Laser Scraper inspired move is still there. Heat version resembles a reused animation from T4, but changed. 5:04 His new standing Hellsweep to downward swipe from his trailer. 5:11 A new move from his trailer. 5:26 Corpse Crusher was DVJ's move and is exclusive to him only in TK5-TK7. I had to take a careful analysis to prove to everyone that Jin in this game has been merged with DVJ to become one.
1:06 is identical to DVJ's f+1+2. 2:48 is DVJ's WS+2, but a claw slash. 3:01 is a mix of DVJ's d/b+2(claw slash) and Lars' SEN 2(back hand swipe/side chop). 5:04 the second hit is basically the High Pounce(u/f+2+4) but a claw slash instead of a punch. Kazuya had that move first before they gave it to Devil Jin. 5:11 only thing new here is the 2nd hit. It's the one from DVJ's b+1, 2.
So is this the first Tekken game with more than 8 buttons ? Or is the "Heat Attack" ( whatever that is ) button just a convenient way of achieving a combo of conventional buttons ? In an equivalent way to the "Rage Art" input ? I'm confused 😵💫
Yes they are shortcuts, Heat Burst and Heat Smash (Heat Engager and Heat Dash come from certain attacks towards the beginning of the video) are 2+3, and Rage Art is now universally df 1+2
less practical moves now, one of the best fighting game is Virtue Fighter because it gives us realistic fighting styles while in tekken 4 and 5 jin style was way better and original but now its like .......
@@yunjin909 how would you like if the start shooting lasers from ass ? see there is the limit, you develop a story where some are human and few are exception so exception have to be in limit so humans can be superhuman to match and beat them through hardwork. Like Heihachi was, he used science to get his youth while kazuya had devil power;
@@syedmurtaza8106 Tekken Tag Tournament games are not canon, no one would really mind if the games started like this either, this is something the Tekken team would do, there's no limit, you might like more grounded stories, that's fine, but Tekken is just not like that, hell no fighting games with the exception of Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive are like that.
Im not one to make a big deal of something new but I cant be the only one who despises the hit effects of tekken. Like I get the game is moving in a more videogame-esque direction artistically but tell me why at 0:02 Jin throws a jab cross and you literally cant see it, let alone his body?!? I pray for a setting to turn it down
@@doublejacketjimmy391 The point is I dont just hate everything that is different to what im used to (T7) but I just think that the hit effects are executed poorly, its not a new style its just bad.
