I feel like my reaction here could be very similar to Yet To Come in the sense that there's so much about BTS that I don't know, so a lot of refferences will go over my head, I can only speak on what I see personally from these visuals and at best give an additional perspective to an MV that may speak about things that seem obvious to ARMY, so again, if I missed something I know I can count on you guys to provide some context. 18:51 "this song is literally for ARMY" The black areas of the Crossword Puzzle, is spelling "For ARMY" in Braille. 👑💜👑 Also when he turns back from the Ship, the lyrics go "AND I LOVE YOU" There is a tattoo on his neck.. It is also Braille and it says ARMY.... The most beautiful way to reassure us that he will be back to us once his duty is fulfilled. Thank you for your reaction.

in the beginning when jin was sitting near his crushed ship, there was no trees around it, but later when his ship restored and sent a signal trees around it already grew big. it takes minimum 10 years for trees to grow, so maybe the little girl is around 10 year old. ARMY were given our name on 9th july 2013 so we also soon turn 10 years lol i love the message of the video. seokjin teaching her to ride a bicycle (and how the shots of her learning and him riding were put one beside each other... if he is an alien, a stranger to earth life, maybe she taught him first so it's their thing), giving her his helmet with which he crushed on earth, right before he was planning to leave her so she can stay safe in the future. but once he was given a chance to leave he couldn't because he realised his home is not a place anymore, but his loved ones, this girl who is happy to be his friend i also find it not a coincidence that the car that stopped to help him to get him back to the girl is a truck. a truck car is a constant symbol in bts' mvs since 2015 or so and i believe that its meaning has crossed the limits of their fictional universe already. it was always a symbol of the friendship between the 7 of them and jin was always the one driving it with the other boys inside. now it's taking _him_ home

Coldplay wrote the first version of the song and gifted it to Jin, and they worked on it together to the final version. That's Chris Martin and his son Moses that you can hear singing backing vocals. Jin performed this song live at a Coldplay concert in Argentina - it's so beautiful and sad at the same time. I'd love for you to react to that live version, and please start from Chris Martin's intro - that gives the context for how the song came about and is a beautiful speech in itself. Thank you so much for your reaction and for loving Jin's voice. Somebody else who reacted to Epiphany made the comment that Jin could sing opera just as well. I also love how this song stayed in Jin's low to mid-range which showcased the rich resonance of his voice. Stay well!

Jin is the sweetest young man. He is always so in his element w his band of brothers and ARMY. I’m so proud of him. I have watched BTS since their debut. I’m a proud Mom as I see these boys as my Sons. Jin adores Chris Martin and Coldplay. This collaboration is magical and sweet!

I've been army since 2013 and a fan of Cold play for a long time. Jins friendship with cold play just warms my hearts. The little girl IS army and the song is literally a love letter to army. In the mv he ends up spending 9-10 years with the little girl while his ship is repairing itself. When his ship sends him that signal and he can finally return home, he realises that home is where army is. There's so many subtle references in the mv that shows how much he cares about us. Army in braille, his first suit looking like his baby suit, the little girl squishing his face like how the members do, the words written on the crossword and looking directly at us, etc He wanted a way to say goodbye for now, but also letting us know he will be back. Everything about this song and mv makes me cry.

the little girl represents armys and bts that means jin gave us the helmet and taught us riding the bike to tell us to be safe and keep going ahead while he is gone for military for a while (he's going to military by the end of this year) and the return from spaceship is a promise that he will come back to his home his family that means to us

A Korean army said that the girl looks like 10 years old and armys are also 10 years old I mean the fandom name age

I really wanna thank Coldplay for this song. Army, BTS and colplay have such a great friendship. Im so happy to be a fan of both. This song is the sweetest thing, it makes me smile from within, even on the loneliest of days, I remember I have army and BTS.

I love watching you tilt your head when Jin is doing it in the video--twice! The mark of an empathetic reactor (not kidding actually--some reactors never seem to enter into the emotional space of the song, but you always do.)

I was sure I talked about interstellar without realizing that I only mentioned it in a comment when I saw the teaser for the MV aaaaaaaahhhh 😭😭😭 Anyway, this was absolutely beautiful and I'm sure I missed a ton of references, could probably watch this 10 more times and discover something new about it each time, so apologies if I didn't touch on something that may have been obvious :)

The song is absolutely beautiful. I love Jin's solo songs so much. The music video, I felt like I was watching an entire indie drama 🤣😭 it was so bittersweet. Melancholic but comforting at the same time. It's very emotional in all sorts of ways
