Vince wanted to give him heat but it wasn’t the heat he needed. It was such a waste of a run and to think we weren’t able to see him do more and literally be limited by Vince shows just how much out of touch Vince was at this point. So glad he’s finally out!

@@fupaloverAccording to the wrestling community in India, they really didn't care about Jinder. So it didn't really work. Jinder wasn't born and raised in India, so that played a role in India not really caring about him.

Vince was a good booker a long time ago, I think what got him was he second guesses himself too much, and nobody stopped him, and said that the shop was good as is. Or tried to light a fire underneath him.

Vince only pushed Jinder to make money in India. Cena only learned Chinese to make money in China. - I had 3 WWE tryouts as a Chinese Wrestler prior to 2010.

@@laxuspoldish6165No, it's because Indian audience didn't connect with him, Roman Reigns is more popular than Mahal in India their are literally hotel named after him. I will say this him not being born in India wasn't the issue, him booked as stereotypical foreign heel was the issue, Indians are very nationalist and patriotic so portraying Indian wrestler as bad guy is destined for failure unless they are built right.

Just a bit of historical correction here, The Great Gama from the late 19th century and early 20th century, who was a legit hold wrestler and undefeated across the globe for a long, long time was not a Singh (name/title reserved for Sikhs). Jinder then often mentions Gama Singh, who was actually a pro wrestler and Jinder's uncle lol. Great Gama and Gama Singh are not the same people.

Jinder was soley pushed to heighten the Indian market.
