FF wasn't fighting Trailblazer but Acheron but when it comes to the story the developers had to introduce the SAM BOSS so they made us fight her , The ones whom she threatened were Acheron and Blackswan You can see that from Her POV HUD Target system where she only scans Acheron and Blackswan , When she understood threatening isn't working , She thought Its better to grab trailblazer and take him away but she couldn't because of Acheron.
@@rajanicn9269 That's not even a case of just "game mechanics". The TB doesn't know SAM won't attack/hurt them. They might assume so because of the whole Stellaron Hunter relation but considering the circumstances he looks shady as fuck and TB is "grouping" with Black Swan and Acheron in that moment. There is no reason for TB not to fight SAM in that very moment. In hindsight I have to say it's kind of funny how obvious Mihoyo was about SAM/Firefly and barely anybody realized (leaks aside obv). I didn't either. SAM even has heels... very obvious ones as well (and I wont let the mech suit excuse go for that. there is no reason why the boots wouldn't just be a solid piece of metal).
@@just_tom_solomon1210 I like how he is depicted in JP, rather than just a mindless berserk in En. He is here under the command of Elio and what he does is all according to plan, so he should be rational, and thoughtful of his actions, which makes more sense for him to sound like JP in this situation.

@@just_tom_solomon1210 watching the CN cutscenes I'd say that was the general intention for the character. The chinese VA has a very humble tone for SAM as well.

I prefer EN. JP is to calm for me when welt said that Sam leaves no margin for error and a engineered solider. But overall everyone has a right ti their opinion and I like EN sam more then JP
not really, eng dub has more emotion to it than jp dub. jp ver is more on the calm side and I find it very lacking tbh, on eng it’s full of personality and emotion. not every jp dub is superior, sometimes the eng dub does it better
@@heurta It has nothing to do with "emotion", the problem is the characterization, in all dubs SAM has a calm voice with an elegant tone, which is in line with the little we know about him, while in eng he literally sounds like a villain when he doesn't even have to be one, no matter how good a performance it is (which in this case is not that impressive either) when you are not in character at all
