Awesome episode, we always make sure to watch this during the Holidays...and maybe even Xmas in July. Robert Conrad who played the biker cop was in a hilarious 80s comedy (uncredited) as the police chief called Moving Violations (1985). It was like The Wraith with the relatives of other famous actors of the time. Moving Violations would be a great episode.
Oh man, I also had a Turbo Man figure. My mother asked if I wanted a Turbo Man or a Buzz Lightyear, and I said Turbo Man, and regretted it. The Turbo Man was pretty cool all things considered -- it was maroon and gold, big, heavy, and you could really launch it at somebody's back and shed some skin. Anyway, saw this in theatres and it got me hyped for Christmas. Houseguest and Jingle All the Way definitely exist in the same universe.
@@MovieDumpster absolutely! I just watched Jingle All the Way earlier today with my kiddo and was like, "Wait! Joe and Sean might have reviewed this!" I was not disappointed when I found y'all's review. Keep it up guys! If you guys ever make it to the West Coast for whatever reason, you got a spot on my couch 😂
I always thought it was strange for a kid to have a giant Captain America painted themed room back then. He would have been around C level popular back then. (This was long before the MCU) My guess is that they couldn’t use Spider-Man or Wolverine?
Yeah Cap was only popular with comic fans at the time, so yeah maybe it was a legal thing or maybe Marvel wanted to push Cap? Agreed on it should of been Spidey or Wolverine at the time. -Sean
I get that part where Jake Lloyd's friend is saying your parents should get divorced it's awesome did wonders for his dad to get more presents etc etc it's fucked up but I remember being a kid like we said fucked up shit to each other so to me that's super realistic actually lol
I'm excited for this one boys.....lol gonna save it for tonight at work...I absolutely love this movie "your my numba one customaaa" shit always gets stuck in my head but objectively I understand it's trash but it's got Hartman and Schwarzenegger and Sinbad....I mean what could go wrong lol...it's a shame it took those schmucks tony and newt to introduce me to your show (jk I love those two) and love to hear Justy again🤘.....no need to respond to all my late ass comments fellas but I really appreciate y'all taking a sec to answer my questions especially Sean👍 I look forward to laughing along with y'all tonight at work
We all really love this movie, it's a Christmas classic! Enjoy, dude! Make sure you check out the promo video for this episode when you get a chance hahaha. Then you'll know what the hell we are talking about with Haggerty the Blue and Dobby. It's in our promo playlist.
I was 8 when JATW came out,i even had a Turboman Doll, and i stupidly opened it. I wish I still had It. But i was thinking shouldn't the mural on Jamie's wall have been of Turboman instead of Captain America. I love this movie so im not gonna think to long on this one.
Awesome imma check that out on Friday (I live check to check u know lol) as long as once I sign up I don't really need to leave the RU-vid sphere to get the content lol not super worried about what's available as long as I can get it here it's more just about supporting a show and group of folks that I enjoy listening to was planning on 5$ but god damn I want that shirt lol but I'm 6'1 250lbs hope they come very big?? LOL🤘
This movie gets better with age while the Jamie character gets more hated with age(even when i was 10 i thought he was a turd lol). This episode was hilarious. I would love to hear reviews of other Christmas classics such as "Batman Returns" or "Scrooged"(can't go wrong with a Bill Murray flick).
Loved the episode...come one adopt the leprechaun u get a WD cracking terrible jokes and singing old Irish jaunty songs....come on....lol I mean he may try to trick you into your death...but you win some you lose some....😝....question if I join patreon do I have to access the bonus content through their website? Or can I access it directly through RU-vid? Cause I use mobile only loading anything from mobile "web browser" is terrible lol thnx fellas
We have some bonus content on our RU-vid channel, mostly Event Promos and our Movie Dumpster Universe Chronicles (which you definitely should check out *wink wink*). I actually just added it all into the playlist where it would make sense or check out the Promo Playlist. We have Watch-A-Longs and Commentary tracks on Patreon, plus exclusive minisodes for $5 and $10 tiers but all tiers get behind-the-scenes previews. If we have a video or link on Patreon, it will usually open up in RU-vid, Soundcloud, etc., so don't worry about being mobile only! -Sean
Ngl even though it's not the best I really like this movie, especially since it's an Arnold movie that's family friendly and not god awful so I can actually show it to my siblings lol
