Good call on Roman's guitar work. He's sadly often overlooked but his prolific and diverse riffs are the common thread linking every Jinjer song we have recorded going back even before Tatiana joined the band - and incidentally, it was Roman that recruited Tati when their former singer was looking to leave the band. This song is about Tatiana's mental health struggles and lines up pretty closely with an interview she did with Psychology Today back in 2018 - the growls in this make me feel like *I* need therapy afterward! (and I mean that in a good way haha)

Jeffrey Fisher Agree wholeheartedly about Roman. Did Tati's growls just evolve? I’ve often thought that Angela Gossow was the cream of the crop but damn, son!

Tatiana never ceases to amaze me, especially the live performances. Eugene is a beast of a bass player, Vlad's timing on the drums is super tight, and Roman's guitar is so crunchy, it's all amazing. Tatiana's vocals always make me feel some type of way ;). Great reaction as always Mike!

She was having writers block and she found an old song or poem she had written from when she was 16 and turned it into this song, and I think the bass player gets all the recognition cos hes the manager Haha he is amazing also 😆
