the band style changed a lot, it's incredible how much ... personally, my favourite album is Cloud Factory, all songs are, from my point of view, very high quality... King I think has your 2 best songs, but some others are at a lower level than the songs in Cloud. Right! As a vocalist I try new techniques and tones from metal bands / vocalist I'm into so that I don't get stagnant. Started years ago with Phillip Anselmo and got heavier from there with guys like Randy Blythe and how he enunciates words. And now, this woman here!! They're all great musicians and her ability to go as heavy as she does adds an over the top element to it, especially also being the singer(clean vocals) she is. A current favorite for sure and will probably rank up there with my all-time fave Pantera as time goes on, just in a different way/era. Got to share the stage with Phil last year, would love that with this band this year on the same stage......but I'll be happy just to get to see them live in a few months!! \m/

Has anyone ever discovered Jinjer and it wasn't a momentous occasion in their life? I have discovered Jinjer on September 8th 2020. I will never be the same.
For me the pandemic hit, I went into quarantine with the rest of my hometown of Kansas City on March 16th, 2020, thinking "Well this is going to suck"... a couple of days later I discovered Jinjer. Quarantine ended up being a blessing disguise. Edit: The one downside, they were scheduled to play in Lawrence, KS not 30 miles from KC during the quarantine, and it was of course cancelled. I will see them live at some point in the future!
It's weird cause about a year and a half ago I discovered them (through Pisces, surprise) but I didn't think much of them. I thought it was cool that she could pull of those insane vocals and the band seemed tight but I couldn't really get into the rest of their music. I started at cloud factory and for some reason the music couldn't click with me. I remember thinking there were just too many changes and syncopation going on, and how whenever something sounded cool or an awesome riff came on, it never lasted quite as long as I wanted it to. Their stuff was very much a bit too progressive and complex for my music taste at the time. So I kind of felt sad that they didn't live up to the expectations I had set on them (at this time they were pretty famous already), and I pretty much forgot about them. But just a few months ago when they dropped music videos for some of the tracks off Macro I was impressed by their sound on that album and loved basically every song on it (the second half of Pausing Death might be the best thing I've ever heard), so I went back to check their catalogue again. To my surprise I loved the vast majority of it. I enjoyed their music so much that they've easily become one of my favorite bands recently, maybe even top 5 atm. My musical taste apparently grew to coincide with Jinjer's sound even without listening to them, and it's weird cause I don't really listen to bands that sound similar to them at all. But now I really like their music and absolutely love the direction they've been taking with their last couple albums. I'm absolutely a Jinjer fan now and I can't wait to hear what direction they'll go in next.
You can hear how far the band has come listening to this and their newer stuff. They sound so young here. I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean it like when you see an old photo of someone beautiful when they were young, you can see their beauty in it's infancy. In the same way you can hear Jinjer. Love this fucking band!
I'm usually listening to them in my car,and so is anyone else that might have their windows down...lol. And,I hope the people with their windows up can hear it too.
I think a lot of the songs with Dimitri are underrated, mainly because they dont get as much publicity since they dont really play them live anymore. The duality of Roman and Dimitri playing off each other, especially with the tapping, made a very cool groove that is probably very difficult with only one guitar.

I just found you guys a couple days ago. I'm a single momma with 3 kids. Metal head to my core. After I get the little queen in bed (shes 3), I attempt to clean up but usually get too overwhelmed with the amount of madness all over the house. So I "decompress" by putting headphones on, cranking the hardest shit I can, and do mindless tasks aka laundry and dishes. Having just discovered you, I made a playlist to put on shuffle for tonight's "cleaning". Ummmmmmmmmmmmm....so what had happened was....this song came on while i was washing dishes and I raged so hard, the whole kitchen is covered in soapy water. And I'm cool with it 😂😂. The lyrics give my entire body chills. I dont know much about you guys yet but this song punched me in the gut. HARD. I immediately looked up the video and all I can say is THANK YOU! Not only the singer is an unbelievably sexy woman, she's also, imo, the most metal female vocals in actual metal. But thats not all, on top of that the songs are solid and catchy as hell. \m/

Discovered Jinjer about a year ago because of a "top 10 female singers in metal" article and was blown away. I'm about to see them for the second time here in the United States. I saw their first show ever here in Fort Lauderdale because the Texas shows got canceled. Now in about a week I'm flying up to Wisconsin (where it's 40 instead of 80 here in Florida) to see them. Can't wait. Tati's voice is incredible and the band is so good and their music is unique. I don't like stuff that's too "progressive" but I find their music unique yet still catchy enough to grasp. Jinjer 4 ever!
With how many views their newer stuff have, I'm surprised this song and Exposed as a Liar don't have like 4 million views each. These are both REALLY good songs.

I can play this on repeat! I really love this song a lot. I won't go on n on but recently I connected with an old friend, we met as young teenagers probably 14-15. Went off n had lives and now we live about an hour apart 20 years later, some choice words have been reciprocated lately & I think we got something here folks. I don't know if you've ever been afraid to let someone be, that pair of scissors, I have. And idk how y'all interpreted this song but I'm taking an optomistic eye to mine.....I've had Scissors on repeat and I couldn't help myself but I had to send it to her. She's not familiar with Jinjer at all. Dylan Gish I was lucky to listen to them performing when they were less known and the concert was in a small pub. I was like 2 feet away from her. All I can say is that I fell in love for a night.

This band is great we need more like them with less pop genre, so support them for a few bucks on ITunes you get great metal songs and greater support for the band to travel. I bought a shirt too that really helps bands. I'm not spamming, I'm just a true metal head/ Fan too..\m/
I seem to be going backwards through the catalogue. 1 ) there is more band members the deeper I go, like the one guy who seems to be heavily influenced by Angus Young. 2) tati's tats ( using a nickname for someone I dont know feels odd but it seems fairly common and is part of her insta handle.) I seem to have now gone far enough back that im watching her sleeves get filled in vid by vid. Lol 3) you can hear the difference in the newer works, im not sure if it's purely the passage of time and the honing of the craft or if formal training has taken place but her voice has matured perfectly and the band sounds tighter and more in tune with each other on stage. Sure there it talent but because of how I seem to be going in reverse im seeing a shit ton of hard work, and that what i'z appreciates about this music.
Great song & 'live' video. I've seen Jinjer headlining on Tue Oct 8, 2019 @ the Opera House in Toronto, ON and on Apr 11, 2018 at the same venue opening up for Cradle of Filth and Jinjer are absolutely fucking awesome! They're the 'real deal' folks!
Hope this stuff come back to Spotify. Inhale, Don't Breathe is a great album and pretty underrated. Maybe a re-release by Napalm Records like they've done with Cloud Factory. Love this band :)
