Jinjer….The best band to come out in decades. Tatiana leaves me speechless she is just fantastic and the band is unbelievable. They top my list of bands to see live as soon as possible. I don't recommend bands very often....but I tell everyone about this band they're just that awesome!!!!
i'm addicted to this song tbh. i just cannot get it out of my head. by far my favorite jinjer song. i get that this band definitely isn't for everyone, but every member of the band is so talented. it's so cool seeing bass and drums featured so heavily in songs outside of solo's.
Definitely! Eugene, and, Vlad are crazy talented. Their prog/jazz influence is very apparent, and, it gives Jinjer the depth, and, complexity to stand apart from mere "metal" bands. Add to that Roman's guitar playing, and, Tatiana's incredible vocals, and, brilliant lyrics are icing on the cake.
They are really talented for sure! And they are all such cool people overall too, I met them in Brazil, december 2018, on a Meet & Greet I won.. That was an awesome experience, and they were also as good live as they sound in studio. :) Jinjer became a "must hear everyday" band for me, they rock!
I'm an old punk/hardcore guy. I'm not into moder metal at all. No judgements about it, it just doesn't interest me. Jinjer is the first metal band in at least a decade that has made me sit up, and, pay attention.
funny thing, just as you were mentioning the Pink Floyd "teacher teacher leave us alone" lyric , they said it....if you look at more Jinjer videos you'll see that they're definitely not a "one trick pony".... they just have that "it" a winning formula that works....most everything they do is gold....
Jinjer has always been more than just Pisces. I've loved everything they've done so far. This song is easily one of the best they've written so far. She's a brilliant lyricist and one of the best vocalists in metal right now. The band sometimes gets overlooked because of how awesome she is. The band is full of some of the best musicians in metal right now. Eugene is easily one of the best bassists right now. Great reaction!
Tatiana has said that this song is meant as an allegory. The teacher represents all authority figures. Teachers, police, priests, politicians, military, etc.
I did like it, gave it higher rating than Pisces, its a great song & video which I said in this video. I'm 50/50 when it comes to what they put out in past, some stuff blows my mind but other times songs lack something. 🤘 Gave Micro EP a listen and damn it good.
@@bethrobinson94 They just finished up recording sessions for their new album slated to be relisted in late summer early fall. Eugene (the bass player) said, in an interview last week, that the new album will be in the same groove as Micro. I cannot wait for the new material to come out. Hopefully they will be playing some of the new songs on their up-coming fall tour.
@@eugen4053 ok sorry mine mistake only often Ukranian and Russian are very similar to my language (Serbian) and we say Tanja and Tatjana and since western people often make names when pronouncing names and writing it (cant remember when some westerner pronounced my name properly) I figured that is what was case here.
There are fans of the band, and then there are people who just like watching youtubers lose their minds watching Pisces. Then again, I wouldn't know about the band if I hadn't succumbed to the Pisces clickbait...
