only 239 more to go til 28k...next thing u know, you will be at 50k 🤘🙌🤘 edit: jinjer isn't as popular as you would think (which is a travesty in itself) but their fans (including myself) have been pushing them on anyone and everyone that will listen so we can make them more well known, specifically because (at least fans from the US) we want them to be able to have enough fans for them to justify doing a US tour (they have performed here, but at music festivals with tons of other bands and only having a 30 minute slot performing on a weekend long music festival , but i digress)
The bassist and other musicians do make play through vids. They are seriously a power band. Every member is top tier in their respective field. Great vids man. Really enjoy your channel
Fare enough you’re new to Metal, but you’re missing the fact that Eugene is one of the best bass players on the planet. Captain Clock Live is great too
He seems to be recognizing the crew one after another haha. So he’s getting there. No disagreements on the band as they are all excellent alongside with the vocalist
That BEENG! sound was the bassist, Eugene, hitting a bass harmonic which is next level skill on a bass guitar! So yah there’s that plus how he can effortlessly go to tapping up on the neck for really smooth, mellow tones in his notes. Hmm, tones and notes are basically the same word, almost same meanings.....uh oh, now I’ve done it- mind blown 🤯💪🏻🤘🏻
Agreed, they're an amazing band! But id rather see Apex or Ten Thousand Against One. He did say not the obvious reaction videos, lets show the rest of that amazing album!
That's one band of incredibly talented musicians, every single one of them has crafted their work into a masterpiece and I think that is a very hard thing to find. A lot of bands, especially female-fronted rock/metal bands are carried by one person, but that's not the case with Unleash the Archers (or Jinjer). Even though Brittney's vocal ability is staggering, the rest of the band is just as good. I think Awakening is a great song for a reaction video because it really shows off the talent of every member of the band -everyone has their time in the spotlight and imo there's not a bad moment in that song.
Niceeeee, more Jinjer pleaseee!! Just Another or Outlander will totally blown you away, this guys has so much to offer, I want it i wi'll get it or Scissors are some of his first official songs and totally worth to listening
Pisces must be one of the smartest songs and videos ever recorded by a metal band. Your reaction to it got me onto your channel, your videos are very entertaining. Dunno where you stand on requests but I'd love to see you react to some more progressive metal, something like Tool maybe. Stay deadly mate
You want something a little less obvious? Death - Voice of the Soul! One of the most beautiful metal instrumentals ever composed. RIP Chuck Schuldiner.
You mean their 4th album, Objects in mirror are closer than they appear, inhale don't breath, cloud factory, and king of everything the song sit stay roll over is off of. I fucking hate kids, they don't know shit about anything before they discovered it. Lol
Welcome to Jinjer every member of the band is excellent in their own right but best experienced as a whole. The band is better than the sun if it's parts incredibly
Do you like badass riffs, deep lyrics and insane drumming? Gojira has all of that. They are one of the most original and most highly celebrated metal bands of today. "The Gift of Guilt" live at Brixton is a good introduction to the band. just saying ^_^ PS: I applaud you for trying to get recommendations for the hidden gems of Metal. But people will still request all the most popular songs. Metal is like a journey into the infinite depths of all the subgenres. So it makes sense to start with the most important bands because they had a strong influence on many others. Jinjer for example was influenced by Lamb of God and also Gojira.
An absolute staple of metal reactions is Nightwish: ghost love score, live at Waken 2013. There's an extremely good reason for that... It's breathtaking
@@seanhanlon1706 Consider people watching the reaction channels too, these are great opportunities to make people familiar with great songs and wide discographies of bands, but no, it's the same 2-3 (3-5 on some cases) memetic "reactable" songs which sometimes aren't even best representations of the band. I'm actually getting tired of many staples, including Ghost Love Score.
Nekrovelho unfortunately i agree. it's become a liiiittle bit tiring to see people react to it. it's definitely epic but there's so many other good songs by nightwish and other bands you could pay attention to and react to instead.
New sub here , nice vibe and nice thoughts ... youre another proud member of the metal family bro ! edit : just do you and what you feel like doing , people are here because of you in the first place ;)
It really is like two different artists when you hear it. But then you see it, and the fact that it isn't? Basically just kicks you square in the mouth. The drummer is Vlad, and he is a beast. He puts all kinds of little touches and ghost notes that most people who aren't accustomed to different time signatures or metal music tend to miss. Killer video! Looking forward to what comes next!
They're the best thing to happen to metal in years. Can't wait until they visit Ireland again. I Speak Astronomy official vid and Captain Clock live are definitely worth a look too man 🤟🏻🤙🏻 (Oh, and I'm still pushing for Nightwish - "Ghost Love Score" live at Wacken 2013. Trust me, and brace yourself for the influx of the NW family.)
That high pitch sound at the end was the note Eugene (the bassist) was playing. What I love most about this band is that every single member is insanely talented at their respective instrument. I'd probably stand there in awe if I got the chance to see them live haha Check out I Speak Astronomy or Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest) next!
There is a band from Toronto called VARGA that had moderate success in the mid 90's with songs such as "Greed" and "Freeze, Don't Move." Their style was more in line with "Industrial Metal." They disbanded then re-formed about 6 years ago and instead of going back to the industrial metal sound as before, they metamorphosed into a prog/thrash metal band. If you want to feature a band that some may recall, had success and is on the underground side these days and have just beyond mind blowing talent. Look no further than VARGA - Beginning Of The End official video, I highly recommend this and will blow peoples mind!!!
Any Jinjer you check out is amazing. "Sit Stay Rollover" is a good one, and it's one of their heaviest songs. "Just Another" is good. "Ape" is good. But really, every song is good. 👍
Ok so I gave you a couple critical comments with your first couple metal reviews. After watching a couple recent reviews i see you have soaked in some feedback and opened your ears and mind. Nice job man I see you starting to feel the music at a whole other level. Keep it up man you are on the right track. Not that my opinion matters but i am appreciating your growth.
Hello, hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you would be interested in reacting to Nightwish? The live performance of Ghost Love Score at Wacken is a good one to do. If that one doesn't get you hooked on Nightwish, I will be surprised.
Jinjer "Just Another" it's catchy as fk , you'll love it.... also I'm glad you said you'd look at lesser known bands....it was because of Jinjer I started listening to other bands from Ukraine....check out the band....Space of Variations "Tibet"....
Seriously, the band Once Human is SICK. The guitarists have phenomenal riffs/melodies/technicality, and they have nowhere near the recognition they deserve. If you like Jinjer, you'll enjoy Once Human.
One my personal favorite bands just dropped an album Whitechapel, and the genre is death core, what's interesting about this album is its a lot more melody based with punchy riffs and the story behind the album, the lead singers mother kept a diary as she suffered from mental illness and believed she was possessed by a demon. Suggest Hickory Creek if you want to hear his clean vocals or When a Demon Defiles a Witch for the harsh with clean vocals this second track you'd be throwing yourself in the deep end, instead of listen to bands to adjust to the sounds.
Hey there Drew! Just shot you a message on Twitter but I’ll repeat it here for you. Welcome aboard to the metal community! Similar to other genres of music there are many different variations and subtle differences from one style to the next. For someone who is trying to figure out what the difference is between nu metal/symphonic metal/death metal/metal core...(The list goes on) it can be somewhat daunting. Especially playing off of your final comments about wanting to not only react to the “mainstream” artists but others as well, I’d be happy to not only give you recommendations to check out, but take the time to explain what styles you may like (or those that generate the most RU-vid hits). Feel free to shoot me a message, I’d be happy to help any way that I can. Fantastic job so far with the channel, keep up the great work. Look forward to checking out more soon. All the best from the States. Cheers!
@@DrewFortune97 oh snap...forgot to say to react to the live video of "outlander" they are always better live than the studio version...they had a producer for some time, for many songs, that made their studio versions sound like it was recorded in a tin can 🤨
One video that channels don't react to a lot is ( epica - cry for the moon studio version ) it's an amazing song! Simone's voice ( the singer ) is angelic :)
Crowds aren’t bad brother. Lots of love going on. Some rough love sometimes but love nonetheless. It’s an experience that you will never forget. 🤘 React to something by Marilyn Manson please. My suggestion is Say10. Thanks.
You definitely need to go to a concert. You'll be fine, just stay out of the pit, which will be directly in the center of the crowd. Up close to the stage is safe, in the back is fine, and on the sides too. Just bring ear plugs if you have sensitive hearing 🤘 A Jinjer concert would be even better! I saw them live in October as they opened for Devil Driver, and they definitely stole the limelight!
Sweet reactions Mate! Recommendation based on what you might like more : If you like Pisces, with a more mellow approach definitely go for their song Perennial. If you like getting a slap go for Ape EXCEPT if you are epileptic seriously! And I'd be more than happy to recommend other bands if you like. Keep it up and welcome to the metal family ;)
Yeah I agree. Do some less known bands too. Jinjer is deffinetly in my top 5 of all time. Jinjer was underground band and less know but a lot of reaction chanells on yt are doing reactions on it right now. I really liked your MMA type videos too. You used to do those and that's how I found this chanell. So I would suggest higlights of Justin "Higlight" Gethje. That would be fun. Probably won't get nearly as many views as metal reactions tho but there you go.
I would love to see you react to some Sabaton songs, very different vibe from jinjer. some great songs are Panzerkamf, 40:1, resist and bite, and Carolus Rex. definitely subscribing to see more.
Good reaction bud. Maybe check out a British band who have been around for ages. The band was one of the first hip hop metal bands. They are called Senser and like jinjer are hugely talented. Would recommend the song Stubborn or state of mind to begin.
If you want something that’ll truly surprise you listen to (hunt the dinosaur “alone” cover) its a hidden band that’s coming up but needs way more recognition
