Now that you like Jinjer as a band and their sound. I recommend looking up their lyrics - from their Cloud Factory album especially. It was written during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, where the band is from. "When Empires Collide" is probably the most literal/direct lyrics of the album.
Yeah it is incredibly important also the lyrical video of dreadful moments and a plus or a minus dreadful moments always gets me emotional its so important topic😥😥
Tatiana is life! No one can touch her vocal ability or presence! I'm also a new fan of Jinjer and very hooked. Shoutout to their bassist Eugene, who is also badass!
All these years, and it took Jinjer to get me into this music too. I still don't really get into the bulk of it, but so far Jinjer....Slipknot....Nightwish have lured me in
You haven't done their song/video for Ape. Great video and great song that grows on you with every listen. Also you did Perennial Live maybe do the music video/album version as well.
I love how open minded you are. I think its awesome that you can step into another realm and kick it. To see it in the flesh though. To feel the drums and bass in your chest, Tati killing the vocals and not to mention the ENERGY!!!! Press on my man 🤘
Just went to see them live for the 1st time last night and let me tell you she sounds incredible in person. completely blow my expectations out of the water!
Dude...in all seriousness, you are one of my favorite reaction RU-vidrs. You have vids of everything from Elvis to Led Zeppelin with bands like Jinjer and Nightwish too. Epic stuff!
Great reaction!! As usual! Here's some great scoop on the drummers; Jinjer has actually had 5 drummers, including their current drummer Vlad. They've all been really good, but here's some scoop on Vlad (current) and Dimitry (previous to Vlad, and on this vid).Dmitriy Kim played drums 2014-2016, and plays on "King of Everything" LP this vid is from. Totally bad-ass drummer, VERY hard act to follow. The guys is SUPER tight and his rhythmic placement is completely on-point. Enter Vladislav "Vlad" Ulasevich, current Jinjer drummer since mid 2016, and plays on the "Micro" EP, and upcoming "Macro" LP. Vlad not only fills in Dmitriy's shoes, but takes the progressive in Jinjer up about 10 more notches, AND covers all of Dmitriy's former playing. Vlad is also a capable guitarist and bass player, and contributes heavily to Jinjer's song writing. So there you have it! Keep rock'n brotha!
Best part of the video is when you saw the word black and said " that's me! " the way you said that was funny I almost spit my coffee out!!! Love the videos keep them coming!!!!
As you love Jinjer, check out the band Ingected Rain, I recommend the track Orphan Soul. Singer is friends with Tatiana and they used to tour together.
Check out Opeth - Ghost of Perdition, live at Red rocks! One of Tatiana's favorite bands is Opeth, lots of influence from their songs. Same style of harsh & clean vocals with amazing instrumentation.
Still gotta do On The Top and Pit of Consciousness. Definitely check out Scissors, that's one of my favorites. Also, I Want It I'll Get It,I believe that one is titled in Russian.
I’m ready for you to continue your Jinjer journey man! Check out the Ape (one shot) video. One of my favorite songs and you get to experience what it’s like being up there on stage performing with them
Yeah, Dmitriy Kim is a beast of a drummer. Too bad he doesn't want to be in a band, he prefers his work as a studio tech, and judging by the treatment he did to the audio on their one-shot live version of Ape, a good one too. : ) Like 163!
Hey bro, great reactions on a very talented band out there in any aspects. POINT !! I call out all brothers and sistahs at any color,it simply don't matter to me,we are all ONE !!! LOVE ALL REACTIONS FROM YOU BRAAAH !! KEEP THE GOOD WORK !! LOVE AND PEACE !!!
I love when I watch music reactions and I see people react to the parts that floored me on my first listen like "Yeeeaaahhh you felt that shit too huh" lol
So cool to see this. Your the best reactor for sure. I'm surprised you haven't become aquatinted with Gojira. Flying whales, the Link and Heaviest Matter of the Universe would be a great place to start.
Noticed it's been a good minute since you've done some Jinjer. If you're down to get back into it check out "Retrospection live in Melbourne", "Scissors", "Cloud Factory official live video", and also one of their more recent videos, "Home Back" which is basically about the war in Ukraine with Russia where they're from.
Love all your Jinjer reaction vids man, makes me happy to see people smile while listening to Jinjer. It looks like you are getting a bit of a taste for metal. I think you should check out Periphery - "Make Total Destroy". Its got nice guitars, awesome drumming, groovy ass beats and an AMAZING vocalist. I think you would enjoy that video
So, I think I've seen all your reaction videos to Jinjer now, and enjoyed 'em all. It says something positive about this band that so many people who discover them get hooked. You've probably figured this out by now, but there's basically no such thing as a bad Jinjer song. Keep up the good work on your channel!
If you're down Jamel/ Jamal for a full set by them Resurrection Fest has their 38 min set from Resurrection Fest 2018. They don't mind reactions but you're good for the pauses bro.
To be honest I have not listened to them until you started reacting to them. I’m a bad mom!! The drummer is Vlad. They are in NYC tonight, on an off night, headed to Radio City Music Hall to see Incubis. Just a little insider information.
For some more cool metal I would suggest the bands 'Alien Weaponry' and Unleash the archers. Alien Weaponry is a 3 man Thrash metal from New Zealand, who combine Thrash metal with Te Reo Maori language lyrics (Maori being the native people of New Zealand), a good first song is 'Kai Tangata'. Unleash the Archersis a 5 piece Canadian Power Metal band with lead vocalist Brittney Hayes AKA Brittney Slays, Power metal is basically fast solo heavy fantasy metal. Brittney is a great vocalist and the band is great. A good firt song would be 'Awakening'. Incidentally both bands are also signed with Napalm Records.
My man! Try Cloud Factory and No Hoard of Value! Great older songs and videos! For Newer, definitely Ape, and Sit Stay Roll Over, one of my personnal faves!
If u like girls with huge vocal range u can also try some old(just 10 years, but i was listening since release) Alissa's stuff. The Agonist - Thank You Pain or The Agonist - and Their Eulogies Sang Me to Sleep.
I sorta feel like you're ready for Meshuggah now :) Actually, I know you reacted to Bleed already, so now try one of their GOOD songs :) :) I could do track recommendations all day, but if I had to pick just one, I'd go with CLOCKWORKS. You get a bit of everything, including a guitar solo worthy of Alan Holdsworth (of jazz fame).
More for ya! Since you dig this band so much (like all of us...!), here's a couple morsels for you: first up, "Words of Wisdom" live; it's KILLER! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ew48eCy2fhU.html Next we have Roman's (guitarist) play-through also for "Words of Wisdom". Very cool to hear the very heart of this band at work!! Roman is the Gin in Jinjer!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-85LMuQvJ4UU.html
what do you use to record the video audio? I notice sometimes only 1 channel of the audio is in the video, like maybe just the left side or right side of the stereo audio?
This song reminds me of 2011 Asking Alexandria. Speaking of, please react to Asking Alexandria - A Prophecy. It's a classic metalcore track and is a bit similar in style to this one. It's also really big if that helps. It'll give you a better idea of modern metal in general.
Gotta do “Ape” and go ape shit with it. Official Music video or the Live one at the Mystic Festival are both great. But I’ll personally take the live one first.
Led Zeppelin's copyright people are very big on copyright striking unfortunately. This is a problem I have seen on many other reaction channels. Luckily Napalm records understand that RU-vid reaction are great great exposure (tbf they should, Jinjer exploded in popularity through the innumerable Pisces reactions, people were intrigued and started looking up more of their music, and were enthusiastically cheered on by the fans they did have, who were also able to tell everyone that Jijer is legit life too. Pisces is imo not nearly their best song (it's a good song don't get me wrong) but it is a seminal one, because it was the song that exposed them to a much much wider audience.
