Cody, I came to see you twice. First time you got sick, the second it rained. There were a lot of prayers on the front side of that stage too. We've met, but you don't know me and I don't know you. Had never heard of Cody Jinks till I worked security for a couple of his concerts. Really enjoyed the mellow sound and loved how he engaged the fans. I’ve seen a lot of big names while pulling security and was left dissatisfied at how distant they felt or how wasted they were. I personally saw Cody go to give a little girl a pick after a song and a grown up tried to grab it. Ol Cody pulled it back and made sure the little girl got that pick. He became my favorite act instantly. I’ve pulled security for 2 venues he’s been in now and he’s still one of my favorites. Come on back to Ms and I’ll hope to see you perform again! Def a fan and thanks for having some good ole boy character!

30 people don't know real music and have no idea what real talent is. I love listening to you. I grew up on a ranch in Montana with a family that always played music. My dad was real country and played real country. I met many old time country musicians through him. My dad and Uncle had a band and used to pack the house every time they played somewhere. You sing from your heart and soul as they did and I can see that from the emotion in your face and how you sing. God bless you and never stop. This brings me hope that real country isn't dead.

Moved to Arlington, Texas back in June of 2017. I was at a Texas Rangers ballgame, when I heard "Loud & Heavy" played, as a relief pitcher (Chris Martin) entered the game. Once I found out it was sung by Cody Jinks, I was HOOKED !!!!!!!!!!! I've been listening to Cody's music ever since. How is this man not MORE popular outside the state of Texas ??? Jinks, thanks a ton for this song,I know many of us would sware a certain song was written just for us...the first time I heard your music (this song included)...I was coming off of about a year a half year crack binge that turned into about a three & a half drunken meth binge (all of this after being clean and sober for about 25 yrs,the exact number of years I was married to my soul mate, best friend & the best Lady I could have possibly asked for)......The first of your great songs I heard was "Im Not The Devil You Think I Am"....it just blew me away...it hit me right in the gut like a mule kicking me!....by this time I was going through a divorce,my Wife at the time was going to let me come back for about the 5th time!....but I was so ashamed & strung out & at this time...still a damnd mess..I just couldn't go back for the risk of hurting her & the Children again,plus being too ashamed of the way I was and had been so strung out after living living a Christian...Clean and Sober Life the length of our marriage until I hit the crack n meth n all that shit!!!.....anyway,I had heard this song"Somewhere in The Middle"...and like the first one I heard...it just tore me all to peices....see...we had moved many miles for me to take s Union Freight Hauling Job!!!!...& "them ol docks in the winter man sure gets cold"....My Son had to drop out of college because I had spent all the funds on that devil's brew..."crack"...& got a job as a plumbers helper....I had let him down so bad, From the Dad I had been to all three of our children!!!...& I could go on and on about the words of these songs,but anyway...my Son was here visiting me one lonely cold ass night,(as they most are lately)...i told him I had a few songs by an awesome Singer I wanted him & I to listen to together....we sat down & I started playing "Some where in The Middle " first....Man oh Man...it hit us both Brother...We Hugged Each Other So Damnd Tight & Cried n Cried Like We Had Never!!!.......After that and a couple other of your songs,Plus "Keeping The Wolves Away"..by Uncle Lucius...Cause you see, I was hit by a car at work during all this other shit & had my ability to work taken away by big crooked Business,Workers Comp,Crooked Dr's,Crooked Lawyers & Crooked Ass Liberty Mutual Ins, ok. If I'm pretty sure you have heard "Keeping The Wolves Away by Uncle Lucius"!!!??...well my Son had moved from North Carolina, back to Virginia to help me because I was Down At Such a Low Point Physically, Emotionally & Every Other Way You Could Imagine!!!......This song as well jusr was so much like what I ess going through,.....anyway...I guess I've said all of this...
