The Prime Minister is right; we must accentuate and celebrate virtues in the Jamaican economy. But equally, and in tandem with this outlook, we should also highlight mitigating activities that work against such progress, and crime and violence can easily be identified as perhaps foremost among them. Therefore, any political speech by our prime minister at this time, about strides in the economy, wouldn't then be complete, if it isn't tied to renewed actions to stem crime and violence. It is noticeable that the prime minister, supposedly for his own tactical purpose, has steered clear of any mention of the negative impact that crime and violence could potentially bring to bear on the intended benefits of infrastructural advancements. In other words, equal emphasis needs to be placed on the eradication of crime and violence as being put on infrastructural expansion within the economy, and this ceremony appeared to have provided an occasion for him to communicate a linkage between the reduction of crime and violence and the infrastructural work in progress, as well as renewed, if not wider on-going social work to eradicate the crime problem.
Being able to speak more than one language is highly applaudable. The chinese guy is still learning and though some words weren't pronounced properly, i fully understood everything he said. Cant wait to learn spanish fully.
Already I can see a goat wandering unto the highway, it may not live to make it into the pot. I am recommending that the road maintenance department use mesh wire to run along the rails to keep out such animals ✅
The PNP lost the election in 2016, the project began in 2019, so could you explain how it was started under the PNP, because this project took four years, and between P.J. Patterson and Portia Simpson, the governed Jamaica for twenty five year, apart from Finsac, which is P.J. legacy, can you point out what they have done during those years.
@@dawnb.1127true..and u know something, if it was started by the JLP it a possibility that the PNP would not complete it..saw them did something like that of Eddie lost in the late 1980ties
@@dawnb.1127 In September 1999 the Prime Minister formally launched Highway 2000, eliciting much media attention. Patterson started these Toll roads. Stop being so tribalistic. We are one united nation.
@@cameron9119 how am I being tribalistic, I am just stating facts, people like you love to give credit where it is not deserved. P.J. Patterson was PM of Jamaica for over eighteen years, why didn't he start the process then, and maybe he would have some legacy that he did something good for Jamaica, his legacy is over eighteen wasted years and when other countries in the region were recording growth, Jamaica was not, you want to give him credit, but when they signed over some of the cockpit country to China, I am sure you were one of them that was blaming the government, well if being tribalistic mean supporting a party that is working to make Jamaica a better place, I will gladly accept that description, because as far as I am concern, you party is all about power, and after Jamaica, for me it is Jamaica first.
Nothing is wrong with the prayer. We pray the Lord's prayer and many other prayers written in the Bible. The most important thing is that prayer was prayed.
