Jitterbugs are easy to use, only requiring slow lifts and drops, and/or slow winds upwards for a few metres before being dropped back down again. However, just like the Slider, sometimes you only need to engage the reel upon hitting the bottom to find a fish already hooked up!
It’s another OA product that can be dropped down and the outfit then set in the rod holder so fish are caught for anglers automatically: just wait for the rod to buckle over, then wind the fish in! This lure is best attached to a couple of metres of 25-30lb fluorocarbon leader.
