Ridiculous exposing the boy like this. Everybody rooting for the girl, who was the only one been coached. He cried on shame. He either was untrained or just little trained. I hope who settled this match fixed things for the boy.
@w9j15g At the age the kids shouldn't fight at competitions. They haven't the maturity and the experience to understand the risks of hurting himself or someone.
@w9j15g Otherwise I saw several kids hurt themself at competitions because of their little awareness, lack of self control and also some absurd rules. As regards your last question, yes you understood. We are not made all in the same way. You are not me and I'm not you. Everyone has his/her own level of discomfort and way of thinking and you have got to accept it even though you don't like it. Not all people feel uncomfortable to have physical contact with people of opposite gender. And this goes for both genders.
@w9j15g The problem is these videos are only good to humiliate and mock publicly the boys and this don't like at all. In this case it's obvious that boy didn't know anything, not even how to move himself. And putting him against a girl was little appropriate and clever. Not to mention that this experience could lead him in a future to develop a bad attitude towards the female gender and maybe at the next competition he could be tempted to take revenge on another girl and hurt her. I'm firmly against mixing the genders at competitions. At competitions fighters should be separated based on weight, size, gender and skill.
I think the purpose of the fight demonstrates how a trained fighter can defeat someone despite differences in age, size, and gender. This girl dominated the match by quickly pulling the boy into a very tight headlock, which drained him of his size advantage. I'm not quite sure why she was so obsessed with trying to apply the armbar on him, but I am glad she didn't because she could have inflicted enough pain on him to cause an injury. I think when she had him in a good leg scissors that she should have grabbed his arm and pulled it towards her and beat him with the triangle choke. But, she did eventually apply the naked chokehold in which the poor boy had no chance. These types of matches are as important to the boy as it is to the girl. One important aspect that people do n it see is that in order to do well, One must learn humility, defeat, and learn to be humble. Respect for your opponent is crucial, as it teaches self discipline, sportsmanship, and many other lifelong lessons. These are what too many people often seem to miss when viewing these events.
The only thing we see in most mixed kids fights is that boyscare made losers not made as skilled as the girls to humiliate, emasculate, discriminate boys and being sexistic to boys. For the boys is nothing positive to learn here, just that girls are seen as far more important and loved than boys. This is similar to murdering boys. Betrayed and sold for the girls empowerment. Boys just don't count just being slaves for everyone to be controlled and beaten up. The only loving people I can see are such many boys taking all this and see no chance to change that, but still hoping it will one day.

I do not think it was stage fright. She knew what she was doing and he didn't. And once she wrapped her legs around him, he struggled to free himself only to be placed in another inferior position. With a little training he should be able to defeat her, but this exhibition proves the power of the training.
The kids seem to have a blast with grappling like this, and the girls keep up with the boys very respectably. I've pushed for a jui jitsu physical education elective in our public schools for two main reasons. First, it's a defensive fighting system to keep bullying and physical abuse between kids to a minimum. And second is my hope of evolving towards a generation of men and women free of domestic violence. And maybe a generation with respect between male and female, verbally and certainly physically. And the time to start training is before girls and boys develop biases between each other. Also, since jui jitsu is a form of violence intended to be used responsibly, it needs to remain an elective to participate in or not to, by our kids only.
She is literally half his size it’s obvious he let her win. She a tough little girl but she is like six and he looks about eleven. They are just encouraging the little girl. Everyone there should be able to tell he let her win

P.S.: There's a short clip of the girl lifting weights on their channel, and in the description it says she's 8, and the video was posted in 2015.
I have never seen them beginning on knees. Ivsuppose it was because he was so much bigger and longer. This way he gave back some handicap so his advantage wouldnt be so ridiculous. Its also possible they had some invalids in this dojo so they used to start sitting down soveveryone. Could participate...?
Just utter, foundational-level humiliation for that lad. Unreal. He was clueless and let baby girl dominate and choke him to tears. Not sure how boy shrugs that off to experience or coaching. He towers over her and should've been able to hold her off with one hand. Instead, she relaxes on the mat to cheers, while studying his tears of abject shame and befuddlement as friends, family, peers marvel at Mimi's well - applied skills: speed, assertiveness, using her legs to make up for size, fending off slower boy, taking the back and going for the kill...and she must've slapped it on good because he was tapping and balling FAST. I'm glad such embarrassment wasn't possible when I was a kid. That was brutal. It'll change her view of how to deal with boys and men as she grows older (that is, not being intimidated) but, if not handled right, this could effect him long term as well, as far as basic confidence going into teen-age yrs. Boy needs to pick it up if he's going to stay mats.
@@tompowell6324 I'm afraid he was. He wasn't as aggressive as the smaller GIRL and was publicly humiliated for his trouble. Look at him balling! Nothing to it, baby girl. Boys are soft.
I do not think so. The boy is probably 14 or 15 yrs old, and the girl looks to be about 7. Yet, despite him being about twice her size, that is where his advantages end. He lacks a natural aggression, is obviously untrained, and he lacks strength. Ther girl, on the other hand, is very quick, aggressive, trained, is very strong, solidly built, and she is constantly on the offensive, to which he is dumbfounded on what to do. She locks his legs around him in the scissors, and she takes away his arm. He has no idea what to do, so he resorts to trying to pin her, but she is too strong for him. She totally dominated this match, but once she applied that chokehold, that was it. If you noticed after he lost, he started to cry from what appeared to be humiliation and maybe a little fear after being put in that chokehold.
She was determined to get that armbar, but I'm impressed by the power of her legs when she clamped on those leg scissors. He was psyched out by her skill, strength, and determination. Her ability to then go to the chokehold was a terrific move, but I hope the boy takes this loss as a lesson and stuck with the art. Before one can become good, One must suffer defeat and learn to be humble.
@Prince T'Challa they can understand a concept like sparring if taught correctly. You were the one that brought up liberals when this had nothing to do with gender equality or liberals.
What is the purpose of this match? girls are stronger than boys? Why did the boy's parents let them get the match? Is it good your son live with wounded mind that he was beatened by smaller and younger girl? I cant understand it.
