This is a joke!😂 No experience, only coaching kids. He may think he got hired as head coach, but he will be the assistant coach and Lebron will be Head Coach! Glad I'm not a Laker Fan!!

JJ Redick will be Ron Pelinka for Lakers or another org within 5 years. He is brilliant and doesn’t get enough credit even with the hype but to be a great CEO/GM means you have a sense for each department. He will understand the plight of a coach and player over the years and ultimately transition well to a Pat Riley or modern day Brad Stevens. JJ isn’t there to be the coach, he’s there to ultimately take over for Rob. Like Rob or hate Rob he’s battled a lot in losing a friend and client like Kobe. Are we sure Rob has 5 more years left? You don’t earn long yachts with short vision folks. The GM role for the Lakers withstands the volatility of any coaching climate. Just my opinion.

Remember, he is brining Coach K knowledge.
