I love how they actually give you a chance to take in the clothing and not just rush by like more western runways. They move around, stop, let you really see the details. Simply beautiful.
*Cough * *cough* why else do you think british stole almost every thing from India they possibly could. They stole things worth trillions. Lol. And they have audacity to call us poor.

Very disappointed that Indian fashion videos continue to perpetuate the stereotype that dark-skinned Indian men and women are not beautiful or worthy of being featured. The caste system is supposed to be over and it should be over in FF feeds and fashions by Indian designers. The majority of Indians are not white---what is wrong with showing darker Indians? RU-vid should not help perpetuate this powerful racism and caste system that still sadly dominates thinking in India. Clothes are beautiful, but it is hard to enjoy them without feeling I am supporting the denial of opportunity and recognition of beauty to so many dark-skinned and trodden classes in India.
Caste system? Are you crazy? What has caste system to do with colour? Also this show is happening in Northern India which is above the Equator and everyone is not dark skinned far from the equator. They have taken into account various skin colours and is a fair representation of people from Indian subcontinent also the lighting is making people appear lighter. You people dont even know what Indians look like. I get comments from the likes of u daily in US asking me if Im European because Im not the dark shade you think all Indians are! I dont understand what the problem is with the likes of you. U are ignorant and jealous and so confident and you come and babble here without knowing jack. First of all get informed before talking about some other country and embarrassing yourself.
Also let me inform you caste system was not on basis of birth. It was actually description of social classes and professions that exist in all societies. In the British colonization era people were exploited on the basis of caste and it became by birth and people got less opportunities because of that and to counter it Indian govt introduced 50% reservation to people of down trodden castes and in last 50 years they get prefence in jobs and education system. I don't know if you can do math but if a 13% or so population is given 50% or more reservation in jobs and education and they are not prejudiced against but given preference it more than makes up in reparations. I hope you demand 50% reservation for Black folk in the country you are in and get it for the way they were treated in the past. If that seems far fetched and impossible imagine how far ahead India is in making reparations and how it cares for all citizens unlike many western countries who colonized the world and creates most of these problems in the first place.
@@gauraveshwar Thank you for responding. If the majority of Indian models are dark, then why are only light Indians shown here? Is this Brahman colorism?
@@willowhillfarmgoatrescue2901 I would offer a suggestion that the rich fabrics would present better with a lighter background; that being lighter skinned people. Common sense. They would get lost on black skin.
Poverty exists in all parts of the world. It's ok for people to dress up and live luxuriously even in India. Because India has rich culture before europian took our wealth.
With the poverty we are still 5 biggest economy in the world where are you? And I find it very amusing that all you westerners who do poverty poverty rant Did you know that India was the richest country in the world and still will be if it weren't for the looters . So you can keep your stereotypical a** with yourself.
