asunoarashi the term "Anime-fighter" has nothing to do with it being "anime" at all. It has to do with the mechanics of the game in question. Anime fighters tend to have similar qualities such as having a strong emphasis on aerial combat like you'd see in Guilty Gear, Melty Blood or Blazblue (air dashes are usually a give away). ASB would not be considered an anime fighter by most despite it actually being based on an anime/manga
