I think the anime sells that Pucci is dangerous enough in close quarters combat that he would have seized the chance to deal a fatal blow against Jolyne if she was using one of Stone Free's hands to grab the disk.
God Pucci is such a good villain. He has limitations but struggles and does whatever he needs to do to overcome them. He also has a clear driven goal so he’s always proactive and determined like he’s a main character
Tbh, Jojo has excellent main villains because mosf of them struggle and fight to win, and are often shown to be flawed or even weak, requiring them to be strategic
@@dualwieldroxas358 I don't know if I would agree with you on Jojo villains struggling and fighting frequently. Kars, DIO, and Diavolo all barely fought until the end, and they stomped everyone until final fight. Pucci and Valentine are the only ones who would frequently go out of their way to get actively involved and sometimes struggle. I haven't seen part 8 to judge.

@@missing3434 Pucci and Valentine definitely are up front frequently clashing with characters, but Kira not so much. Kira really only interacted with Harvest boy and later main group when he got cornered with after sheer heart attack confrontation. Other than that he stays as low key as possible until final showdown. Kira seems to interact with the cast the least out of main villains (which is fine since that is his main goal). Kars and Part1 Dio both have more interactions and fights against main cast. Diavolo has more counting Bucciarati and Risotto as large confrontations then Abbachio and Polnareff as assassinations before main fight.
I don't see this get mentioned a lot, but I really love how the stand auras are drawn in Stone Ocean. I really like the more subtle glow instead of the DBZ-esqe firey style, It makes the stands pop out more.

This fights made me realise how OP Whitesnake actually is: It has a pretty above average strength and above average speed and resilience, it has a range of 20 metres, it can put people to sleep while putting them in acid coom and make them hallucinate, it can put discs into people and force them to perform that command AND it can take your stand away.
I love how Pucci is such a drama queen that he will waste time and effort to get himself some fitting music playing when his/dio's plan comes to fruition

Not really, Its shown that Whitesnakes Discs forcibly eject themselves after a bit when put into other stand users, so even if you have 2 stands, you only have both of them for like a few seconds max

One thing I don't understand, is that the Stand Discs are stated to be very hard to match up with users; they have to have matching ideology and personalities for any Stand to interact with the body it's placed in (which is why Jolyne was hard-rejected by Star Platinum and why Pucci even had a whole ton of Stands stored on discs, he had no hosts who could use them, again also why he never tried to use Star Platinum on his own allies). So why was it Pucci was immediately capable of making Foo Fighters activate the water boiling stand? How is it that plankton, a creature that survives by water, is in any way compatible with a Stand that effectively kills it?
@@0K.Y0H No, he calls it a Stand when he talks about putting it into FF in the manga, and while not certain I think he also made reference to it when talking to Dio about useless Stands.
Actually, I don't think they were compatible, Pucci just needed it to work for a small moment, so he literally put it down with his finger, kinda like when Jolyne was able to summon Star Platinum for a few seconds and then it got expelled, I imagine this other stand did that too right after, but that is just my interpretation

@@mythelementz all the plankton touching the stand disc boiled away, and the boiling stand only works if it fit inside of FF, but by the time weather made it rain, FF no longer had that stand inside of her
Cause strings ain't coming from nowhere since it's a part of her body and extending it means turning most of her body into strings which is lethal for her
@@toelighters9416 we seen joylen make a bridge with her stand and still able be to run and fight she should have no issue extending the handcuffs without losing enough mass to weaken herself
He considered Jolyne as nothing but bait to attract Jotaro at first. Not to mention, Jolyne got her stand from an arrow which was something Pucci never calculated in the plan he made.
