I'm a zookeeper. A giraffe is taller than two horses. You're vastly underestimating the length of giraffe legs. In a fight I'd also easily take the giraffe, it's not even close
I've seen the way giraffes fight each other. Ain't no way in hell I'd take a horse in that one. They just swing their necks like baseball bats from what I've seen
Love the "most of the anime community don't deserve the anime we got" take. Totally agree I'm tired of seeing people complaining about animation 99% perfect instead of 100% when animators go through hell to make it.
also for those who didn't like the animation, the animators said they could only get 30% of the vision in time, so be grateful for what we got with their horrendous scheduale
But I bet they would or at least I think they should go back and complete episode 17 at some point. Because that shit was an acid trip, but understandably so since it's not even half way complete.
@Moonmi747 I personally liked it, but I understand where your coming from. It's just sad the animators can't pour their souls, only their bodies on a series they love.
I think it’s crazy that so many people thought Mahoraga died when at the start of the episode Megumi explains he can summon it as many times as possible to tame it
Not manifested. We probably helped some of the animators realize “this is not the industry standard and is not ok. We’re overperforming and valuable” I think it’s less manifestation and more exposition. Always hoping companies like Mappa and Blizzard understand that treating your employees like garbage doesn’t make your product better, having the best animation and animators happy and performing their best WILL and will always produce more money long term
At 1:07:27 you say no one else besides Sukuna and the smoking girl can use reverse curse technique on other people but that’s literally what Yuta does to save Panda and Maki in chapter 0.
@@kylerholcomb229you do know he fore more the react right? Didnt he reviewed ghibli films beforehand, hell I got to him cuz if his Zuko alone analysis
me too. danny is the only reaction youtuber i watch. if i just wanted to watch an anime, i'd do it myself. I like that danny reacts to anime I saw years ago so I can get that nostalgia and danny's funny
the part of the pod with nick and danny talking about themselves and what makes them and how they run their accounts and the future was so beautiful to me
I heard that Mappa was founded by a animator that got sick of being told what to work on so he made mappa to do his own stuff. Years later Mappa gets huge and the vision of what Mappa was when it was founded is completely gone. I also think that animator that founded it is also gone too. Again, this is just what I heard. Don’t know if it’s a fact or not.
That would go in line with a lot of businesses in general. The guy who founded Walmart for example always talked about how he wanted people to come in and be treated like family and if people needed stuff then there would be people there to help them. Now look at how it's run. Places get too big and make too much money and all of a sudden the original vision gets replaced with dollar signs
I love the progression of nick slowy falling off in things hes supposed to be good at and danny slowly getting more pissed and screaming at him in longer tangents
Sukuna is NOT a cursed spirit. How are people still getting this wrong? He was a human sorcerer that was turned into a cursed object. Sukuna himself even confirms he isnt one at least twice at this point where the anime is. He even said it when he was hit with Mahoraga's blade. He basically says if i was a cursed spirit it would have killed me. Also Yuta used reverse cursed technique to heal maki and panda in chapter 0. So its not just Shoko and Sukuna who can use it on others
Misinformation. Mappa did not lose a bunch of money on chainsawman. They were disappointed because it didnt do jjk season 1 numbers or better. They said this in an interview recently. It was still profitable and most anime dont make moneynon blue rays anymore so its an outdadted metric to go by
Clarification 1. Sukuna is not a curse spirit ( he is more of a incarnate sorcerer) 2. No them changing shrine to kitchen is a mistranslation ( they correct it now) 3. A curse is stronger not cause of fear ( yes it plays a part in it) but they need to get stronger themselves by training and having sense of self 4. The other countries doesn't have CE cause of tangen barriers ( it's already explained in the manga) 5. Mahoraga's fight is important as it plays a big part in the upcoming arc( we all know what it is) so i doesn't think it was a wasted fight
I really like it when discussion or analysis or like observations happen while the show continues to play. Best of both worlds as long as it's done correctly
the slow jaunt with "yep thats the last time we see mahoraga " was literally my internal thoughts it was perfect😂, oh dearr i cannot wait for danny's reaction to all to come with JJK
Seeing the explosive end... I still wanna say i agree with Nick. It might not be the most profitable endeavor theyve done, but it's definitely my favorite of both of theirs xD
Took me a little bit to understand the ritual but from my understanding, megami summoned that shikigami because he wanted to beat Haruta in a last ditch effort because he was gonna die anyway. Correct me if that's wrong. I think that's a bit overkill but I get it. I'm more confused how sukuna was able to beat mahoraga. It didn't look like it was the domain expansion that killed him but the fuga technique
Basically, what finally ended Mahoraga was the fire technique. Mahoraga can eventually adapt to any sort of attack thrown at him, so the only way to beat him is to end him before he adapts to something. So Sukuna used the fire, cuz he hadn't used it not even once against Mahoraga, meaning, Mahoraga wasn't ready for it.
I wouldn’t use Nick because watching Nick this video get basic facts wrong and push bizarre theories makes me thinks Nick watches this series with his eyes closed.
I mean there is going to have to be (and for the record I do think it is underway but we are still far off) a change in consumer culture that says, "I don't care if my next anime episode is delayed or if the next season takes a long time to get to me. The treatment of these workers and them getting the compensation and healthy work conditions they deserve and need matters way more." Because the current consumer culture is what a lot of these major corporations base their practices off of in order to squeeze as much fast cash as they cant out of it and it is coming at the expense of their employees in very abusive ways.
I don't know why Nick keeps saying Sukuna is a cursed spirit. He's not. He's a reincarnated human. If he was a cursed spirit Mahoraga would've one shot him with the reverse cursed technique blade, but he didn't. Sukuna even comments in that scene how he himself is not a cursed spirit
@lanevaught2841 that's doesn't mean he's a cursed spirit. Sukuna himself admits he's not a cursed spirit in the most recent episode. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to use reverse cursed technique to heal megumi which curse spirits can't use.
@@lanevaught2841sukuna isn't a cursed spirit. He was a human sorcerer who became a cursed object who then used Yuji's body as a vessel. He's called the King of Curses because of his ridiculous amount of cursed energy and his ability to wield it and the damage he inflicts. That name doesn't literally mean he's the king of actual curses
@@lanevaught2841 exactly, he's never stated to be the "king of curse spirits", he is stated to be the "king of curses". Curse energy and curse technique are the basis of the power system and he is the king of the power system due to his understanding of it
i am so unbelievably happy that i have not seen anyone who is standing with mappa/"give us more unalive if you must" mentality online yet because like i would say some shit i have not said to ANYONE to date and i WOULD in fact get banned from all sites because like??? fuck you???? let them live goddamn YOU WOULDN'T SURVIVE THERE AND THE FACT THAT YOU GOT SOMETHING THIS GORGEOUS DESPITE ALL THIS
On Sukuna, I think it's cooking, other context clues include. Him saying 'time for a tasting' and the fire move when it lights the city end as a circle. A lot like a burner. Does the tasting quote happen in the manga, I don't remember
This was my first time watching the podcast and it was great! I've been reluctant for a while because I thought it would be NIck spoiling every Anime for me, but it wasn't that, so it was great!
The only way this episode could of ended better was if we finally saw Chekhov's podcast knife go off so to speak, as Danny Mortal Kombat fatalities Nick with it. He could bust out a reaction video of it to try and race the clock before his relatively immediate incarceration!
bruh, I wish... JJK is probably the biggest modern anime, maybe only demon slayer coud be bigger or about the same idk, this would never get cancelled. But dang if I wouldn't love if it just ended and mappa could focus on adaptations I enjoy more lol
Funniest intro so far 😂 I feel like most people dont understand Sukuna, if im not wrong the way they introduce him is he was the greatest sorcerer of the past and he turned into a cursed object after death becoming the king of curses, if theres one dude that could have learned a way to hace more than one technique is him. Even Gojo made a comment about him having several techniques in the first season and how Yuji had a chance to absorb that knowledge with time. His technique is the cutting, but he learned other stuff after living so long in the most jujutsu rich era ever not because he copies what he eats that would be too similar to Yuta
Sukuna uses flames before this episode of the Jogo fight because when he fights the finger bearer after he puts him in his domain he uses flames to finish the finger bearer.
Okay while Nick's opinion on My Hero's manga is sort of right I've just grown acustom to Horikoshi's style that I can read it. I'm not saying it's good but I've learned to do it.
danny in the last five minutes stopping talking then immediately screaming at nick to shut up even when he's not interrupting danny had me in TEARS my stomach hurts from laughing so hard
The person that has the “Grandpa’s Ashes” flavor is a Vtuber named Alphena. The story behind it and the conversation around it is just as funny as the name 😂
2:23:58 start of THE BEST segment of this week podcast: "Danny slowly loses his mind while Nick tries and fails to shut up." Edit: that needs to be made into the short.
I doubt Conquest will be in this season of Invincible since he only comes after the multiverse arc. But then again, it depends on how much they'll actually cover this season lol
Id watch a Patreon Naruto rewatch, whether you are mostly silent, on a nostalgia run the whole time, or even just reflecting whats different, now that we "dont have to wait for more Naruto to release." Not a vote for it, but im 100% sure itd be worth the paywall
or uhhh "patreon-exclusive content debut" Danny and Nick react to Naruto, posted on each patreon individually. Dont have to collab in future releases in that manner. One-Time collab "grand opening," idk how realistic or practical that is tho. Potential scheduling nightmare, aside lol. Then continue on with your own, or alongside, with your own Patreon exclusive content. To "throw darts on a board" (i dont have any exp in content creation)
Invincible S2 has been so great so far and I think you can definitely tell a story through a fight plus last episode of JJK was so damn awesome and the ones before top tier as well thanking the animators so much for continued crazy work going through what they're going through.
He has legs and everything in the scene where he was in the bar the intro of toga and dobi he was wearing a 3 piece suit huge fan of the content btw keep up the amazing work
i love how people just forget that aot had same schedule (probably worse) like jjk s2 and people still hate on aot s4 part1's animation😂 the reason why aot discussion wasnt heated is because its story is peak jjk is not like demon slayer but it is a battle shonen which requires amazing animation
Ok so let’s say when death got added to the universe so did Andy when death was added the nagtion ability undead came with it when the concept of luck was added unluck came with it their is probably an unsex somewhere in the undead x unluck universe
Sukuna literally confirmed he's not a cursed spirit yet again this episode plus in S1 episode 2 gojo said sukuna turned himself into a cursed object which allowed him to traverse the ages
