18:04 it's not a matter of Mechamaru not being able to rely on any one else by telling them what's going on 😌 it's more that he literally couldn't due to the Binding Vow. Because prior to his betrayal, Mechamaru, Geto and Mahito included conditions in the Binding Vow that would protect themselves until they got the job done. For example how Mechamaru made sure to included a condition in the Binding Vow that would prevent specifically Mahito and Geto from harming him. And although not directly stated, it's implyed that Geto included a condition that prevented Mechamaru from revealing the plans about the betrayal to the good guys. also ALSO! if the whole "Binding Vow" things sounds familiar, it's because it's the exact same thing as a Nen Restriction from Hunter x Hunter. Gege is a HUGE fan of HxH. That's why the powersystem in JJK is heavily inspired by HxH. 21:11 the last thing is that Mechamaru's ability isn't to control puppets. It's stated in season 1 that he has a Heavenly Pact that allows him to have a STUPIDLY enormous Cursed Energy reserve, in exchange for his limbs and his basic bodily functions. He is essentially the reverse of Maki and Toji, where they are forced to not have any cursed energy but are instead blessed with a superhuman body. Anyways, Mechamaru uses Cursed Energy to fuel and pilot puppets that he has built. And because he has so much Cursed Energy, he can output enough Cursed Energy to the point where he can pilot his puppets from extremly far distances
Mechamaru, like Maki and Toji, has a heavenly pact, the difference is that he has a fucked up body (even the moonlight burns his skin), so he gets a crazy ammount of cursed energy thanks to that. Gojo explained in season 1 that the power of Jujutsu Sorcerers is roughly 80% innate talent, so not all of them have a curse technique, Itadori is one of those without one. Fushiguro's technique uses shikigami but it's not exactly the same as Junpei last season, his was inherited through his Zen'in blood, like Gojo and Kamo
We all knew what he said but before you ask yourselves how he's still alive, ask yourselves why he changed when his buddy Jugo started a fire in that diner. Something was off wasn't it?
get used to the cliffhangers guys. also it's crazy how similar mechamaru is to robot from invincible, disfigured at birth, has a robot facade, stays in a moist container, makes a deal with bad guys to get a healthy body and then betray the bad guys
This arc is the Infinity War of Jujutsu Kaisen. I read this arc years ago and I'm still not mentally prepared for the pain and chaos that's to come. To put it into perspective, Yuji's voice actor said this is the last episode that's going to be lighthearted. Its smoke city and pain from this point forward
Yuji and Nanami got close to beating Mahito during their fight with him in season one that's why he had to run away. Mahito is really tough because of his cursed technique which makes it so only people who are "aware of the shape of the soul" as he put it are able to seriously damage him like Yuji or Sukuna. Jogo got lucky that Gojo wanted information so he didn't just crush his head immediately after beating him.
You can also defeat him by obliterating his ass beyond repair or chip away his cursed energy until he's weak enough, the former being the way that Nanami tried to beat him when they encountered each other in season 1.
all a heavenly pact is that it takes away something but gives you something in return. it took all of toji cursed energy and made him super human, it took mechamaru legs, arm, skin and put him on life support so that he could have a lot of cursed energy and puppeteer his dolls all throughout japan. with maki it took some of her cursed energy to make her somewhat superhuman only reason maki is weaker than toji is because of the twin thing she later sorts that out. they are sorcerers something must be given to gain something
2:42 gege akutami actually had a manga before Tokyo metropolitan magical technical school (jjk0) it also had some really cool singularities of characters and powers as jjk
Mahito is one of my favorite characters and of course he is sadistic like some other curses he’s a curse, they are not meant to be kind curses kill people like Sakuna who has been around for who knows how long and he’s obviously killed more than Mahito despite how evil they are seeing them on screen is awesome.
@@In-The-ZoneHe was waiting for Mahito and Geto to actually do their end of the deal first (to fix him with Mahito's Idle Transfiguration), that's why he wanted to communicate with Gojo afterwards and ask to be protected as he gave Jujutsu High School more information that he got. With the Veil that Geto put up, that plan is forfeited, and the only way he can communicate with Gojo would be once he survives the battle against Mahito.
@@wreathoflaurel I mean the deal is done once Mahito becomes hostile which is before he hops in the massive mech, so my question is why didn't one of his numerous puppets just send a text during that initial skirmish before he hopped in his Eva and veil started lowering.
Anyone get Robot vibes from Invincible in this ep? Gets his body and then has loads of gold robots with green eyes. And then creates a massive robot lol
Muta koukichi name everyone know him Mechamaru curse technique: puppet manipulation he had a pact by Mahito and "Getou", they fix his body and Muta tell they all the plans from jujutsu school in my opinion, Muta is not a bad guy, he just did what that more good for him. If i understand Muta had a pact on himself, he change your body for more cursed power, if you nreak the pact your lost upgrade power, but apparently when Mahito fix your body he continue all cursed energy from pact he did so, i guess this is cheat
The "Evening Festival" is the Shibuya preparation. I am worried that they won't be able to fit all of Shibuya into the episodes they have left without cutting some out. I would go ahead and say that Shibuya is not my favorite arc but definitely top 3 arcs in this series. Fortunately, the other two are yet to come 😉
HUH???!! First time I've heard of a manga reader not having Shibuya arc as number 1. U really liked Perfect Preparation and Culling Games that much huh? You do you but wow thats very different.
This season will have 24 episodes right? They can comfortably fit Shibuya, don’t forget that the whole arc is basically fighting and that translates really faster in animation than us reading weekly. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did Shibuya AND a certain… family reunion considering the op.
To be clear on Mechanaru, the pact, and Mahito’s abilities: - Mechamaru has a Heavenly Pact, similar to Toji and Maki, but the opposite. While the latter both have little to no Cursed energy but are gifted insane physical attributes, Mechamaru has vast amounts of cursed energy but his physical body is very weak (doesn’t have an arm) - Mechamaru entered a pact with Mahito and the Curse users where in exchange for the info he gives, Mahito will fix his body - Mahito has the ability to shape his soul and the souls of people he touches. Because the soul come before the body, shaping the soul changes the body. This is why he is able to fix Mechamaru’s body and change his body into different shapes.
Forgetting things in jujutsu kaisen is a big mistake for Suraj Mahito turned junpei into a abomination by his idle transfiguration in the first place...
Hey y’all I knew that but Itadori questioned whether or not Junpei could be turned back and turns out he could have been turned back. Obviously Mahito wouldn’t have done it though. Y’all gotta give me some credit sometimes! - S
@@ThenormiesSuraj, you’re G and that was a solid question. Some of these guys don’t fully process a question before pushing their glasses up and saying “Aaaaactuallyyyy…”
@@jishanali7889he knew that mahito turned him into a curse and wouldn't turn him back, he was just bringing up the fact that it's been shown junpei COULD be turned back (maybe by forcing mahito to do it someway) he did remember it y'all just too dumb to understand what he was saying
Disposable cameras have become trendy in Japan again, the last fee years. Remember also that they were invented in Japan, and they never really went away in general. Just think of it like an indie obsession in old tech.
Let’s go! This looks so crispy! I’m excited to be introduced to new characters. So good that we pick up right where we left off last season. Why are they always doin my man Todo dirty? Glad to see Nobara is still annoying. Nice that Itadori has a girl interested in him that’s just his type, I just don’t get why they didn’t hang out more. I know Mechamaru is the mole but I’m excited to see him be able to go all out now. I’m rooting for him in this battle and I hope back up comes soon and helps out 😤 I also love that this also turned into a damn mech anime 🤘🏽
I dont think gege akutami forgot about ozawa. I think his statement where everyone dies and only yuji lives is correct. Except he wont live with a curse. Hell live with ozawa 😅
