Fun story!!! The jokes you were making about being able to handle super hot things?? I apparently did so much sugar sculpting before i joined the army that when they were trying to get my finger prints, it took over 20 tries for each finger and the guy doing it couldnt stop laughing and went from joking about me being a master burglar to lowkey being serious about it. XD

I’ve made the strawberry buttercream several times, and IT IS SO GOOD! My kids request it on a chocolate and coffee cake that is just so moist, and it’s seriously the best cake I’ve ever had. Best buttercream ever!

I love the Man Abut BAKE videos! So great to watch them come together from scratch and how-to. Could we have one or two about the why? I love knowing the "why" behind things, like why shortening instead of butter or why start off with a meringue for your butter cream instead of just dumping it all in (maybe I'm just too much of a butter cream novice). Or maybe have one about the differences in things like gum paste vs fondant or ganache vs butter cream and when you use each one.

Baking cups have been available in the uk for quite a while. I’ve even used ordinary paper drinking cups and they work too, although I only made Christmas cake (rich fruit cake) in those which bake at a much lower temperature. They’re great for Christmas fairs though!

You guys should make a shirt that say's " Make it GOLD". The image in my head is a black shirt with the "Make it.." part in thin white and the "GOLD" be golden sparkles and sort of dripping? Like a scary movie trope only fancy.
