THX it depends on interpretation of what is jeet kune do ?. The JKD concept as taught by Inosanto has elements of Kali/escrima ,judo ,wrestling etc ..it's not an art as such ,but the conception that's important . This differs from "original jeet kune do 2 as taught by ted wong , or JKD as taught by Jerry Poteet ,or Taky Kimuras version of it ..so all were taught by Bruce Lee and each walked away with their take on it . Inosanto's is probably the most well known to date . Even the Late great Larry Hartsell had the jeet kune do grappling association !....?????
One of the most unrealistic things I have ever seen. Thats no JKD, at least not something Bruce would have ever done. Whats JKD Kali anyway? Either ist JKD or its kali. Like presenting something thats named Karate Wing Chun.

Yeah he taught both JKD and KALi that day. And yes, the title is misleading.. And Its the art. If you cant pull it off doesn't mean someone else cannot.. But its the ART! Half of the stuff we do in JKD is unrealistic and we would never do on the street. I have never been attacked in Chi Sao or by a man holding mitts...
