Wow, that's gotta be hurtin'! Very sweet! Don't listen to all the haters, they are merely unexperienced, uneducated noobs that don't understand that in order to have quality AND quantity, you have to shell out the dough! You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. Compare JL's W7 displacement to ANY other 12 inch, and all the others will fail to keep up. With JL's unique mounting system, it allows them to make their cone area larger than other brands, while also having the wide or"fat" surround, which helps in the ability to deliver extreme excursion ability. Oh, and a 12W7 doesn't need 3,000 watts to do it! They are efficient. I have had every W7, with the exception of the 8W7. But I may check it out, for a SQ only setup. By the way, pound for pound, and dollar for dollar, the 12W7 is the way to go! The 13W7 only offers 25% more displacement that the 12W7, so good choice on your setup there! A loud system is no good to me, unless you can hear everything that the recording engineer put into the track! Enjoy in moderation fellas! Be careful out there, and make sure that box is secure! You don't want your subs to literally kill you in the event of a collision. Much love.
I live jl I go way back so I have always thought highly of jl and still think they sound the best and the bass sound good and hits hard with quick response and able to hit low without sounding like crap.. also another thing with JL I find different from alot they don't need insane power to push them 1 1000 class d amp with push 2 12s and hit hard
Now that’s a system !!🔥 JL all the way I got 2 W3 12s and they hit nice but I’m thinking about getting one or two W7 12s because those are the real feal
Wade Hensley yes they are strapped. cant wire 3 subs to 2 amps lol... and i know. customer wasn't tryin to do anything special with his insides. i tryed to tell him lol

Yeah that was dumb !!! But True story he was broke after spending $3,000 on Subs-$2,400 on amps-&. $750.00 or more on batteries plus install price... also two 6.5 in the doors for highs PRICELESS.....👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾🤔🤔🤔
The first thing I noticed was the song playing as soon as the video started. I used to bump that song all the time when I played any of the NFS games thanks to Underground. Nice system though.
Who is the unlucky person who's gonna suffer going deaf with this crazy setup. I admire this setup and I know it hits hard with one but 3? That must be insanely loud. You guys are brave👍🏻
Youre insane lol I have 1 W7 with an JL 1000 watt amp pushing it inside of my 2011 Tahoe and that ONE sub is absolutely deafing isnt my cab...i could not imagine 2 more i don't think I'd even be able to handle that much bass
When it comes down to it, there really is no perfect subwoofer. It all depends on personal preference, or system goals, budget, and how much room you have. Bear in mind, the performance of a subwoofer depends deeply on the proper construction of the enclosure, not to mention the environment it's installed in. (well insulated vehicle, or a 70's GM trash can that was bought for less than the system as a whole) I would put the W7 up against ANYTHING in the world given the same box requirements, and amplifier power. I will now patiently wait for and respond to all intelligent replies to my statement. I can't wait to see all the dumb ass replies too! Time to stir the pot - AND GO!
i love the w7 series. when used right, it outperforms most subs. i will say the only sub id take over a w7 is the jbl gti series. and at that point it just what do you want more, Sq, or power handling.
Eric Perry some of the dumbest shot I heard ever man look in to crescendo products bet you will say there better the jl audio and jbl audio all day and it talk think it about the brand that matter then you just a bunch of fly on shit kinda say that boss amp do rated no speakers use coils the cool hose in to a gap between the pole pice and magnet now what makes a speaker loud is the size of the gap if of the cool is lose in the gap then you lose a lot of power and say but if it's right in the gap you gain a lot of dad's and spl also consider the fact of motor force to because the more motor force you have the louder the cool is at lower values and then take the cone and spider assembly if it's cheap you lose power brands don't mean shit it's the rec that hose in the speaker that's why dd audio dc crescendo and American bass are number one leading that's just some of the companys to
My Friend Had An re Xxx12 And It Was Doing A 143 On Only 1000 Watts in A Acura Integra I Put The Same Setup In My Accord With More Power And It Lost A Lot Of Output The I Designed The Box On Win Isd But I Couldnt Believe What Effect The Car Does To A Setup
Was slappin the doors all right. was braking everything lol. in this video music was not turned up all the way. but trust me we clamped way more power then the jl amps. jl 1000.1 or 1200.1 v3 clamp around 800 to 1000 iv seen and the crossfire c5 1700d at .5 ohm clamped over 2200 each amp so that's more then double the power.
That's because the crossfire is a unregulated amp the more juice you put in the more you get out but if you have improper electrical the JL will still put out rated when the crossfire want. And that crossfire is gonna loose a lot of power when impedance rises but the JL want unless it goes above 4 ohm then it looses half its power at 8 ohm. But the crossfire will be down to a 1/4 of its power at 8ohm. But still nice build.
+Tammy Forbes crossfire amps are at half ohm each. plenty power lol. Much more then the jl amp. and it's simple ohms law can't make power out of thin air! ;)
+Ruff CreationZ™ no doudt a 1700 watt amp is gonna clamp more then a 1000 watt amp but that doesn't mean the JL's are junk or anything. And I'm sure at .5 ohm those are inefficient as fuck so it would take a lot of amperage to get more out of them but definitely a nice system no doubt.
People who can only afford hand-me-down subs from pawn shops like cash converters hate on JL hard. It's all about the sound quality while being loud. I don't want sloppy ass bass. Sorry but JL sounds better than most shit i've heard. I'll take JL or Digital Designs over any other subs with no chance of going for anything else.
W7 are great but I think they're over priced for what you get I'm all for them i have fitted in them in a few cars and I get the whole loyalty thing as well I just found that they don't like too much power even though their sensitivity is quite low lovely sound regardless if I had to say another company which outperforms these in Sq and spl I'd have to say Re audio xx series or of course xxx series but that's not a fair comparison I admit 😊
Jon Doe i feel ya but not necessary at all AC current comes out of the amplifier not DC so as long as it's ofc 12 gauge works fine for the short run no problems whatsoever I've tried testing all wires big to small 12 gauge works fine anything over 5000 Watts I would go with an 8 gauge wire but that sub itself is probably only seeing about 1500 to 2000 Watts.
the rattling of the boot a good thing? i find it crazy that you spend so much money and all you hear is the silly rattling...maybe im wrong...can anyone help?i have one 12" in the boot and sounds awesome, without the rattling
Not sure what you mean by boot lol. It rattles cause its loud as hell... customer wants that rattle. That's hood cred. Lol. Obviously we would have deadned the whole vehicle but he wasn't trying to have that done my vehicle does 155 plise DBS on music. Doesn't rattle a bit just flexes the shit out the windows!!! Lol
@Bigdick69 I spent 2 full days sound deadening my truck. No rattles. I smh when I hear a rattletrap drive by. Better off having no system than rattling around letting everyone know your broke ass cant afford MLV and too damn lazy to roll that shit on.
When buying subs all about the RMS not total watts and amps for subs always get a mono block class d if want amp for other speakers then use channels but my fav is JL MTX kicker but if want best bass always get the most RMS watts not total and then sub amp which is the mono block class D just lil info for you that are new to car audio the vets know what I'm talking about have my wheelchair wheels about to fall off from the bass lol
it beat good. that's just what I had for video. did plenty justice in the hood. I know I should of did a hair trick or show some flex once it was fully tuned nn playing full tilt but was just board made a video of n install.
Wtf ? I can do that with only ONE w7, I have only one w7 with a jl 1000/1 slash amp, and is louder than these 3, why ? These should b a lot more louder
+Audrie Udero The song is Juciy J "know Better" but in this video its redone with either a lower pitched voice or was remixed. I use Fl Studio to make my own beats and you can rap and then lower your voice pitch.
