In the first two vids i watched i got one or two wrong but the more i am watching the more right answers i am getting at plus the level and kind of trickiness of the questions, and its very close to the listening practice i have been doing, thank you for these different types of audio, now I will not face difficulties for my listening section, which i was constantly worrying about.💞

This was great! I really enjoy this style of listening and trying to answer a question and test my listening level. For me this is more beneficial than just listening to 10-15minute dialogue. Please do more of these in the future even if not from actual JLPT tests.

I must say that N5 sounds like quite challenging for a total beginner 😅 and the questions impressively more complex than the responses: not sure if it’s just me, but it looks like a pre-intermediate lv if compared to learning English. Would you have a way to compare the N system with an A1-C2 or beginner/fluent kind of ranking system? (Online it gets quite confusing trying to compare them) I’ll be very curious to see how much time I’ll take to fully comprehend that. Beautiful video, thanks for sharing it
@Janka007
@Janka007 Год назад
I think the same, N5 is much more difficult than English A1 or A2. Japanese have too high expectations, but that's it, we need to tackle the difficulties. I'm just doing a lot of practice tests and learn from them.

By the looks of it N5 is like A2. So my guess it would be something like N5=A2, N4=B1, N3=B2, N2=C1, N1=C2. A1 is "what is your name", "where are you from" crap. Though in reality you probably would jump over one at N2, pushing N2=C2 with N1 not having an equivalent if you consider overall literacy due to the fact that there are kanji involved.

Am I wrong about the vocabulary, grammar, and the pace of the speech used in some sentences being at least slightly higher than N5 level? For example, the line "I'm in trouble because..." from number 4, or the one about horses from number 2. Even though there was enough information to answer the questions without fully understanding those sentences, I still felt confused and worried about missing something.

I don’t understand myself well enough in the Japanese language. So I realized I need to understand myself before the context or the context before myself. I don’t understand myself, that’s a problem, but I feel like with enough practice I can nail both sides, I hope. Taketo, ohiyogazaimasu.

( in listening i am very bad🥺)... Anyway thanks to your video, i realized that my bad listening skill depends on low knowledge of vocabulary: for example, hanashiteimasu: now i know it means Speaking🙂
