I think they would work as a couple. If Jo can move on from Alex, then Link can move on from Amelia. He did prioritise his friendship with Jo over his relationship with Amelia, when he agreed to foster Luna in the s17 finale. Jo and Link want all the same things out of life, and they already know and trust eachother. They both desvere that happiness, and I don't know who else they could pair Jo up with, who will want the same things out of life that she does. The show doesn't seem interested in introducing somene new for her, and that only leaves Link or Jack from station 19, and Jack wouldn't be right for Jo. Link would be a step up from Alex, whereas Jack wouldn't.

i love their friendship so much and they both deserve happiness. Link will always love amelia and will put his family first and jo deserves someone who will put her and luna first. they have an incredible friendship, and greys couples have a 5% survival rate. That adds to many reasons they shouldn't be a couple.
