Jo Darbyshire | State of Abstraction 

Artist Jo Darbyshire invites us to learn about her work, Fair Winds (Mariners Farewell) - a tender reference to an ocean area off the coast of Fremantle, where the artist and her family scattered her late father's ashes.
Fair Winds (Mariners Farewell) was acquired by AGWA in 2024. It featured in 'State of Abstraction', an exhibition which brought together abstract works by Western Australian artists from the mid-twentieth century to the present day.
