My mom used to put vicks at newspaper and roll it like a cone and put it on the nose of the kettle with boiling water and i inhale it. If you have clogged nose this shit works.

It’s called the absorption method. AND soak the rice first, then rinse AND we add ghee while it’s cooking and salt good or even better chicken or beef stock....

My dad tried to cure everything with Listerine for sprains and fever (he'd rub Listerine on our armpits for fever or cuts) and nasty ass Castor Oil if we were just sick with flu, stomach ache! Bleh! My dad would also rub a onion on our scalp if we had fevers too... Filipinos are funny as fuck with their cures. Hahaha

Hey Sway...am a Filipino and you can cook rice while boiling water first then throw in the rice.....and when its cooked i like putting margarine and soy sauce while its hot....i may not need a viand for that

i have a scary story to share, too. my brother was alone in the house at that time. he was recording his voice on the phone while singing. when he played it back, somebody was murmuring on top of his voice. he deleted it coz he got scared. who wouldn't?! then he was talking to his friend on the phone and his friend said somebody was talking while he was talking and he said he was alone...

Sway, my mom had us to take a spoonful of Vick's for my asthma. It was on my chest and in the vaporizer. Does anyone use those anymore? We had the one by Vick's. I hated cleaning that mess out.
