Nice seeing it done differently like that, I'm used to seeing them driven up on to low loader trailers, not dragged up on to the back on the truck. Cool Cassie 👍

Interesting video. The only thing I would say is the overhang is quite a lot. I drive an 8x4 renault k series hookloader in the UK and regularly move a demolition spec hyundai 145 that weighs in at 16t. Puts me right on my 32t weight limit and measures at 15ft 10inch a bit top heavy but the truck handles it well. All in a good job cassie well done

The excavator is around 28,000 pounds or 12,700kg, the few hook lift and cable lift hoists I have worked with could pick up 60,000 easy. Figure the drive axles are rated at 40,000 pounds and the tag is probably good for another 15-20,000 pounds plus what the steer axle is rated at. I would be more worried about the over all height than the weight.

Yeah, it just looks over heavy because the rear axle gets almost all the weight in the beginning, but the air adjusts after a couple of seconds. Total weight is fully legal. And I could pass under a "free height" bridge without problem. But we measured first ofc :)

Poor drive axles. Those tires looked like they were going to jump out of the fender, and say, "that's it! We've taken ENOUGH abuse. I'm going to drive a city bus!"

Yeah truly! I was driving so carefully with it on :) The Lego truck is still a project I'm working on, haha. Gonna continue building on stream later today! :)

brukar du lägga i backen när du växlar eller ligger den i neutral? själv har jag blivit lärd att ha växeln i neutral dock så är det med traktor och växlare

Jag brukar tycka att det är svårt att få det rätt med neutralen i, vill försöka undvika att dra flaket så mycket det går. Så jag brukar ha växel i, men det beror på situation såklart. Och om lastbilen har en Opticruise med en bråkig koppling kan det bli som det blir ibland :P

@@TruckerCassie jo det är klart ibland så blir det knas med neutralen i. man får väll helt enkelt anpassa körsätt för situation :) när jag växlar spannmålsburkar så tycker jag det brukar flyta på bäst:P roligt med svar gillar dina videos

The very rear axle isn't liking that at all, why not just use ramps or a low loader? Less stress on the rear axles, even thou it is a triple axle on the rear.

Its 2020 you would think they could come up with a better way to do that the truck looks to small for the load the back tiers looked like they were going to let go

Yeah the usual way to move machines this size is to use a trailer, but sinze this truck was available they decided to use it :) Was a very short move aswell.

Ganska dumt av maskinisten att lasta på maskinen på de viset med skopa och padda längst fram, det hade gjort väldigt gott om du fått bladet mot framstammen för där bör du haft minst 25-27 tons tryck på tridemen..
