When I was in college (mid 80s)I had a repeating recordplayer...I would leave "Glorious Results"on all nite .The spikey hair ,glittery shirt and pacifier around her neck "Joan phase"is by far my fave. Great to see the original line-up again too (Ricky,Lee &Gary) I think the Blackhearts are my all time fave and I wish someone could goldplate her original pro-keds and Gibson double cutaway guitar and display them in the R&R Hall of fame. Love it !!

I love Joan Jett! She rocks! Her, Chrissie Hynde and Johnette Napolitano are the only true rock chicks I know. Avril Lavigne couldn't even serve as a rodie to any of them.

I loved her for a few moments like that............wish she still remembered why I love her love me love her love me. BTW, yes, the things they said at the time about the two of us were lies. But, the line in the song , I think, refers to her gurl lovers, not myself.

The bit about the two us were lies........ That's when the rumor engine was first starting up that Joan went both ways. It was a cruel thing back then. Not taken as casually as it might be today. It was moreso for me. She was my lover, and now she was being called a lesbian . I knew different...at best, she was bi. She did bring a few other lovers around. Women, not men. She always promised to be true, and she was. Never brought another around unless she asked me first.

i remember my sister and i wishing that joan jett would hunt down pat benatar and beat the shit out of her. thats all they played on the radio. nothing against pat, but over and over and over and over, see how annoying that can be? lol all we ever heard from joan was i love rock n roll. we begged them to play other stuff by joan on the radio, of course, NO!!!!!! lol thanks for posting this.

Oh my god...I LOVE Joan Jett. It's pretty obsessive. And the song is fine. But this music video is just so hilariously bad. How did they get her to do some of this stuff? It must be meant to be a joke or something.
