I think it is funny that all the men on that show cannot handle Joan. It is like they have never been in the same room with a strong women before. She is a women boys. Just one who can kick your ass.

I Love Joan. Her calm straight forward demeanor. She truely is an inspiration to all female musicians. I have been a fan most of my life. I always was drawn to strong female musicians with big voicee and something to say. Joan jett Pat Benatar Anne and Nancy Wilson were some of my influences and gave me the confidence as a women to follow my dreams of playing in a band. Thanks Joan...from a fellow female rocker ♥
Wow I can't believe the interviewer just said something along the lines of I like how you are a tough girl yet you wear make up, not like you go out there looking ugly. Talk about implying that tough girls are ugly and make up is the only thing that makes you pretty. Unbelievable.
So many people say she's intimidating, and Joan is even aware that she often intimidates people. The funny thing is, she doesn't mean to. So, I wonder why people find her so intimidating, when she's not trying to be?
At 12:06 one of the other girls to Joan : "the makeup was amazing because you're, a tough girl.. but you still wear makeup! It's not like I'm going out there I'm gonna be UGLY.. I'm like, a girl." Can someone, like, ugh. I don't even know anymore.

She's soooo pretty, not everyone could pull off that blonde crop. More importantly she did some of her best ever work in the 1990s. Not a lot of output but certainly of high quality.
Absolutely stunning as a blonde too! Thos woman is 62 and still HOT as can be. Love her. That I love Rock N Roll was a hit when I was 18 and I am only a tad younger than Joan. Being a kid, I wasn't aware at what those girls went through. Now middle age, I can appreciate their journey with so much more.
Your only as old as you want to be, she is still going in her much older yrs, born in 1958, she is icon for all of older woman who refuse to let age slow us down and are still a wild as we were back in the day, im with a way younger guy now as my ex was slowing me down and killing my soul and me with abuse as he could not handle me and many other men as well after him and before him. I had a few younger men when younger to, i've always appealed to them and they make you feel wanted and respected and desired unlike old men who trample on this. She is amazing.

Yeah, Joan's naughty mind got it right away, which I love! The humor totally eluded the other lady though. That's why she turns and says "You're laughing at me!" No girl, she wasn't laughing at you!
I am not sure if she ever has answer the questions about if she is straight, bisexual or a Lesbian. I bet she is concerned she will loose her fans and money by coming out of the closet. If she doesn't care about her reputation then she should just tell her fan's if she is straight, bisexual or Lesbian. She might just tell her fans when she retires or on her death bed and that is most likely going to be a very long time from now. It's funny how long it took me to find out who she is because I heard her some of her song's but never saw what she looked like or who she is until this year. It makes me laugh that it took me this long. Now that I know I think she is a good person trying to be part of what she enjoys and that is to play rock in roll and good for her that she still has fans. I would rather know her in person to be a friend to her and I am a now some what of a fan of her career but more interested in her as a person. Her money and fame don't mean much to me. The Flannel Dragonfly Pretty sure she feels like she shouldn't have to officially "come out" and tell everyone what her orientation is because that's her business and no one else's. But also it's not like she keeps it a secret,she's openly dated men and women. So I'm assuming she's bi but whether she wants to comment on it or not is up to her and that's the way it should be :)

The Flannel Dragonfly well she'd said that if someone wants to know something about her, one must read her lyrics. she's very transparent and not only in her original songs but in her covers as well, I mean after all I think she chooses specific songs to cover not only because she likes their rhythm but because she likes the message. She's covered a lot of songs about sexuality issues (the most visible example is ACDC, original by the sweets in which video she basically confirms she was dating Carmen Electra) and had written plenty of them too (Androgynous, I think, it's written by her?) so I guess that we can conclude that she is very open about her sexuality you know? and look her androgynous looks and though attitude, she' really couldn't care less about normal/common things that society expects from one. I've been a fan since not too long ago but I guess that what I'm trying to say is that she may feel that she doesn't have to open up and label herself as a lesbian or bi not because the money but because she herself doesn't really care about it. I bet she's that kind of person that thinks that sexuality just flows, and that one doesn't need a label or a concept to fit into. That's at least what I've gotten from her lyrics and interviews and personality in general.
Michelle Álvarez I hit "like" about 5 consecutive times, that was the best comment that I've seen on RU-vid so far on her sexuality, which are usually a great source of frustration and leave me debating whether or not it's worth commenting back. Thank you, honestly, from one fan to another. It literally made me let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. :D

Sorry, but I disagree....... Her jet black long locks back when I knew her were the best. Not that she ain't still so cute with the alternate look, but not my fave.
