I really miss her and her humor. Joan should still be with us. With all that's negative going on now she would put humor and make light of all of it so easily.....
Joan was one of my all-time favorite women; incredibly funny, but also a cultured person. As I recall hearing she dined formally with candlelight, etc. She appreciated the finer things in life. Her apartment was magnificent. It is still so upsetting that due to an unforgivable medical mistake she was taken from us. She will never be forgotten.
Joan was a seasoned pro! At the end she finished the episode with a round sentence, a recount of the day, and called it a night. She knew about editing and the work after a taping.
She earned it the old fashioned way...through working her ass off without false expectations of entitlement. Hard work, even against losses, pays off no matter what pay scale you are on. That is (was?) our pride and purpose as a country.
I miss Joan so much. She has been on my mind a lot lately. I have the turquoise necklace she wore in this video. She sold them on QVC. It’s beautiful and I feel like a have a little piece of Joan Rivers with me. Rest In Peace beautiful lady. 💜🙏🏽
Back when I was a grad. student/special ed. at Hunter College...21991-1992...met Joan several times @69th and Madison Avenue...as me and the other bus regulars waited for our commuter bus home...@9:30pm. Joan almost always was walking SPIKE...the terrier that saved her life...and Melissa...who, we believe, was going to school on Pennsylvania often jogged passed us a minute or so before Joan and Spike appeared. After moving back to NYC from California, Joan took a while to remember to bring tissues or a dog poop bag b/c of our "pooper scooper" laws. She called me "tissue boy" a few times...I was a special ed. teacher...ALWAYS had spare tissues in my pants or coat pockets. Joan MAY have signed an autograph or two over these years...but she mostly seemed to enjoy talking with us.
You know her apartment was a ballroom when she bought it she completely re designed the place and I have to say she did it well that apartment is stunning
Gosh Joan😭😭😭😭I MISS YOU SO MUCH❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you for making me laugh and just showing what a great person who had a heart of GOLD❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭THANK YOU MISS U
Every year there comes a moment when I start missing her so much that I turn to RU-vid to get in touch with Joan. I’ve been watching her videos since yesterday. I, like most of us during this situation we’re in, felt the need to laugh and smile. It’s obvious to me that Joan Rivers is really one of those people you feel you know even though you may have never met. I still miss her.
I miss Joan so much, I sill find myself looking for her on TV, She was so very funny but I believe she was a very good person, you can see it between the jokes, Something about her just lifted you up. Melissa you were very blessed to have her in your life.
I loved Joan tenacity, a good mother, work hard ethical person; It makes me sad that as she seems very comfortable in her nice apartment, doing her canvas painting and her kitchen choirs, just enjoying her successful life, one early morning 5 years ago she decides to go enter a New York City clinic to have her vocal cords checked only to never come back to her place ever again. Very sad!
@@juancarlos9592 I think she got murdered because with her around there was NO WAY Trump would lose 2016, no way we would have experienced covid and no way we would be under China/Biden now. Trump would have won both 2016 and 2020 by landslides each time. Anyone making fun of him would have been ripped to shreds by Joan on stage, including that awful bloody head stunt by Kathy Griffith. God, I miss her. She respected and liked Trump and understood business and how a country should be run. She was a genius. She WAS MURDERED - maybe not by the staff there but someone who got to her somehow over those days.
I miss Joan. She was one of a kind! RIP dear Joan. She liked Charles and Camilla but I fully believe she would've liked Diana too. Not sure if she ever had the opportunity to meet her.
Joan did what everyone hopes to be able to do. She went out at the top of her game and left everyone wanting more. We. Will always remember this Joan, the spitfire. We did not have to witness her decline and her fading away. I miss her tons, but I am happy with the memory she left with all of us.
Oh I simply adore Joan, miss her terribly, and think of her often.... What I would give to step inside her closets to look over all the fabulous jewellery etc etc. Love you Joan RIP xxxx
God ...Life, just is not the same without you joan, you are soooooi missed, especially during these dark times in the country. We could of used your super humor to keep us going in this horrific time .....rest in peace ...😗😙😚
Joan has beautiful taste ! I would have loved a painting from Joan ! RIP MY SWEET DEAR JOAN ⚡️🙌🏼⭐️😇LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DID AND SAW YOUR PERFORM IN SKOKIE ILLINOIS !! FABULOUS MY JOAN 🙏🏼❤️
The French elegance that permeated her Home decor was superb. I thoroughly appreciate her taste and style. I am decorating my Home utilizing this inspiration...down to the Parisian Bordello aesthetic for my Bedroom! God rest Joan's luminous Soul. 🖤
As much as we fans miss her,I cant imagine how Melissa feels. Not only to lose a parent but when your parent has such a large personality it has to create a bigger void. Joan is one of those ppl who ALWAYS had something to say,I know when Melissa is alone and it just gets too quiet she has to think what would Joan he saying
The loss of her husband and the financial struggles at that time made her succeed and take life by the horns. A true Diva with a heart. Brilliant women
Miss you JR! Went to soon, you made an impact on the lives of people around you an abroad, you personality was infectious, you reinvented yourself and were a blessing in this weird life!
I will miss Joan,l have some of her clothes line and l will because she was always laughing and had such good taste.Joan was funny and loved her on tv.
I really miss Joan. I met her at QVC in pa. I wad invited to a special party. Of course i met Joan. She was so small and seemed frail. What a beautiful woman. I got all her signed pictures etc. I am still in shock what happened to joan. , And very upset.
Wow, I'm glad the video is in high definition. I think I actually remember seeing this years ago. What a beautiful home for a lovely woman. She really was a diva, but in the best way possible! 😢
