He did die, my best friend since 1981. Met at Bev Hills High. A wonderful, energetic and creative person!

Thank you so much for posting this priceless video. Joan's brilliance and light never dimmed. She had only just begun at the time of this video and she went on to become a legendary superstar. I'm very sorry to read in the comments below that the adorable host of this video passed away.
