Joan Rivers is a LEGEND. Yeah, she started in the 60's, came up on The Carson Show in the late 70's and 80's, hosted when he was out. She didn't care who she offended, she would often talk about herself, so why should she care about your feelings (she said that). She was great at roasting, and having quick wit, just watch her interviews, she will have you dying laughing. RIP to a great one.

Joan was the best female comedian of all time. She had a tv show called Fashion Police that she hosted with a couple other celebrities. It was hilarious. She is greatly missed.

Knoxville's face during that interview made it so much funnier. To be able to shock someone like him speaks volumes to how outrageously funny she really is. I miss her humor. She was one of the funniest people that ever lived.

The Just For Laughs festival is such a joke. Everyone is forced to censor themselves for the mainstream. I went once when I was 18 and the city is amazing, I even went back 2 more times as I got older but mainly for the amazing bar and food scene with my friends. Joan is a legend and probably the most respected female comedian of all time. She even makes fun of the fact that she's had so much plastic surgery that she doesn't even recognize herself in the mirror.

The reason Gay Men like Dianna Is because when Dr's & Nurses were refusing to go into a room with a HIV patient Diana went to a HIV Clinic She walked into the room sat down on the bed held there hand and talked . After that things started to changed because of that moment. So she will always be admired for Her kindness and strength in the gay community

The best! My parents and I used to drop everything to see her when she came on Johnny Carson in the 80s. She had an amazing mind and I'm pretty sure wrote all of her own jokes. She had filing cabinets full of index cards with every joke she had ever written. Imagine 40 years worth of her jokes. Unreal.

This must have been with in the year she died, very new material in a sense.. Casey Anthony was the mother who was tried for killing her daughter in Florida. in early 80's she used to guest host Johnny Carson show, and then Johnny passed her up to take over, so she went on to have a competing show but that did not last long. she is a great on the spot comic like Don Rickles!
