The "Wipe eMMC" option probably wiped the *whole* of the internal storage, ROM and all, as an assumption - those factory menus don't hold any punches! It probably doesn't have a ROM to boot any longer. Hope you're doing okay, by the way. 💜
That company making custom cases is sweet. I would expect it to cost far far more. For samsung. Using the reverse charging would be top notch though. Bring on the 3 hours of job lot over the next few days
what an awesome job lot, i really loved all of them. being "different" is cool but you pay a big price for that: being alone. i was always bullied from the start to the finish of school, and i'm frikin alone. nobody will listen to my interests or things that i like, it's basically talking with walls (even worse, my parents are the first to ignore me!) but i survived i think. be strong and never surrender, you are doing great!
Just a tip with those glued in batteries, you can use IPA to loosen the adhesive so they come out easily, works when the pull tabs break on batteries as well and it can help loosen stubborn screen adhesive also, just don't go super nuts with it on LCD phones because it can seep in between the layers and wreck the screen, OLED phones ive never had an issue with since they're typically sealed really well

I have not thrown away a single phone I've owned in more than a decade, because I've longed to mess about with them all like this at some point in the future. The one I'd most love to get working is an Xperia Play, where the screen suddenly just stopped working. I'm sure it's just a problem with with connector, as the screen slides out to remove the gamepad, but I've never gotten round to repairing it
I really recommend getting that super thin prying tool for curved screens, that 0.1mm, especially not that wide one but narrow that is like 1-1.5cm or just getting normal one and cut it. That tool save my ass soo many time, if you are delicate you can slide that under glass without even heating it and remove back cover of most of phones. I also have two of those Huawei P9, both had dead backlight. I never got any clue why, as even after replacing battery and screen or swapping boards. at one point I was blaming proximity sensor, connector/cables, software, heat... everything. Problem is that sometimes backlight worked, sometimes not, sometimes worked at 100% brightness sometimes at 10%, sometimes it turned off backlight if you cover proximity sensor, and you had to reboot it to work again, sometimes if you lock/unlock it many times it was on, and sometimes it was on ONLY on camera app.... weird as hell. Still before it got that issues it was good phone. Like really nice build quality, smooth UI. amazing camera... one of my favorite phone I ever used.
Loved the video. Would you consider doing a video JUST on the subject of FRP bypasses? Or maybe individual videos on the correct bypass procedure for each Android version? Seems like every time I try one of the bypasses by watching other people's RU-vid videos, I can't get it to work because things simply don't behave like the one they are using.
My condolences smorez, hope your taking care and making the job lot was a good distraction. Some good wins here and some real nexus garbage. Ended up smashing this out walking as I've done not much alk day. Good work on the overall weight loss. It's about long term trend not sh9rt term hiccups when life gets in the way. I'm trying to do something similae The wide angle I didn't see as a problem when cropped. Don't need 4k on this
I had a P9 for a while in 2020 and I honestly liked it quite a bit, enjoyed the smaller size of the phone. The one thing that kinda killed it for me though was that it was only 32 gigs and Huawei removed putting apps onto the SD card with Android 7, and yes it does go to 7, at least mine did. Could be a telco thing if yours was on a plan originally? Not too sure haha. Love these videos and hope you’re doing well!
Have you tried pushing out the battery terminal contacts on the dead LG? It feels like they're just making poor contact with the battery, and could use a cleaning.

the "htc touch hd" is actually called htc HD2/leo , was being my daily driver for a year of 4. running android from the sd(dualboot) to android on the nand .still have it
why didnt you just set the 6p to run in 4core mode with a patch? they pretty much all die at some point anyways, even if its not bootlooping at the moment its still generally better to be safe
Interesting to see that Nokia in e-waste as the G and X series devices are fairly new and that one might not be out of support yet. Although that G10 will only get Android 12 and then just security updates, if you think the G10 is chunky then you should see the 8.3 5G!
Hey, can you pull the /system/media folder from your android phones when you'll have some free time? I'm interested in getting sounds from that kingsun f4. If you can do that and upload it on mega like you did with system files of chinese clones that would be awesome. I hope you're doing well, and I'm sorry that your friend has passed away. i know a frp bypass in the galaxy s6, and is so easy, literal, you go to setting and change to easy home screen, and go to settings and do the same thing but to normal home screen and done. XD i'm serius literal you just change the home screen and done XD
@@coffeemakerbottomcracked Not that I can see, there's nothing on there where I can see a seam or edges that look like theres a cover. Seems shockingly easy to scratch, the s pen almost feels like it's going to mark it.
