Job was in the middle of a raging spiritual battle. One of his “friends,” Eliphaz, came against him and basically accused him of sin. But Eliphaz got some of his theology from a demon. Then he held on to those beliefs in spite of the fact that they contradicted what he could observe in the world around him.
