Jobava London Review 03:04 White can play g4 here. Magnus played it in a game in his banter blitz session on chess24 4:25 I like Nc1 or g4. But Ng1 is very original. 8:54 Nice tactic. I did not see Rh8+! I saw Nxf6+ followed with Qxd7 19:20 White has lots of mating threats on the h-file, and then gets mated on f7 with Rxf7! Beautiful.

Thanks for preparing all the crazy lines after Be6, got a bit of headache but it definitely gives a perspective how bad is black position. Thanks for sharing another amazing game 🙂

Yeah, it's not popular. I saw it only because of some course online. Interesting :D

I always thought that was the Queens Pawn Chigorin Variation.

Always going on following your really high class channel, dear Mordimer; even I just slow down for a moment a moment of exhaustion, due to a totally other kind of stuff. Nevertheless, the next video I will watch carefully will be about the Evergreen!! Lol! And even my final sentence is heavily repetitive, how to avoid it, since its just sincere: THANKS A LOT. PS: I confess I'm HAPPY that Carlsen could finally win yesterday his match against Xiong. Nor by disliking Xiong at all, but also nor only because Magnus Carlsen is the "reigning" world champion. No; for other reasons. PS: I said it to the kind M.Jozarov too... Very friendly yours, and take care always!

Yeah, Yozarov is a guy... awesome, friendly, responsive... what should we expect more from top chess channels? :D

Amazing analysis. Superb play by Carlsen. Though at that point, Xiong might not have recovered from previous loss from a drawn endgame.

I think it's not about recovery but rather his strong will to win, underestimating the position and attacking possibilities by white.

Before black moved e6-e5 i thought about my problems with bishop c8 in french defence :) Very good game by white and lesson how to develop in irregular opening. Ke2-g1 was unexpected at the first sight, but black also played twice with Bishop. Those moves are invisible for amateurs :)

Thanks for awesome comment! And showing how you watch the analyses, definitely great way of learning something from each video which should be educational not only enjoyable :)

Thats of course educational content, because the best players in the world play against each other. Very often players try to surprise the opponent by home preparation.

@@czarnylotos7553 That's true, I think Caruana is the most unexpected prep player :)
